Аtmosphere and ambience, everything was above our expectations. It is especially nice that staying at the hotel you can explore the Abbey until midnight. Everything is open and there are crowds free. The smell of the herbs in the gardens is simply divine!
Oh, and don't skip breakfast under any circumstances. The experience is unique.

The room in Fontevraud L'Ermitage was pleasant, it was clean and the beds were good. Perfect for 2 or 3 nights. The room was quite warm in August, there were fans but they made little difference. We also missed having a seat. We were with 4 people, so sometimes we had to wait for each other. Don’t go for the breakfast, the selection is very limited and we found it very disappointing for the price.

Cadre génial, personnel de l'hôtel vraiment très très bien, chambre confortable, senteur Fontevraud très agréable. Le bar éphémère, les paniers repas, la diversité des éléments du petit-déjeuner ainsi que leur provenance et leur qualité, ça c'est du quatre étoiles comme on aime!

The staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast plentiful and top quality, locally-sourced ingredients. Room very comfortable indeed.

Aussergewöhnliches Erlebnis: Ruhige Lage, neuwertige Zimmer in Klosteranlage, Abendessen (separat) u. Frühstück (inklusive) in Michelin Sterne Restaurant, Möglichkeit der Besichtigung der Abtei ausserhalb normaler Öffnungszeiten, was will man mehr?

Mitten im Kloster welches die Hausgäste nachts besichtigen können, eine wundervolle Erfahrung. Tolles, sehr freundliches, englisch sprachiges Personal. Ruhige Lage, schöne moderne Zimmer. Anstelle im Restaurant zu essen, hat man die Möglichkeit sich einen Picknickkorb richten zu lassen und im Klostergarten zu picknicken. Wundervoll. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Superb accommodation. Beautifully considered mix of the old and the new. I have stayed her a number of times and LOVE it. The greatest pleasure was to have sole access to the whole Abbaye when the public left. MAGICAL. The erastuiarant is also very special.

A true gem - and what makes it a gem is that hitel guests have access to the abbey after closing hours until midnight - really exiting!

Séjour extraordinaire, l'environnement est très apaisant, le personnel accueillant et professionnel, le mobilier est de qualité et décoré avec très bons goûts, le petit déjeuner est varié et avec des produits locaux de qualité. Le fait de pouvoir visiter l'abbaye même de nuit est une belle surprise que nous avons apprécié

Très beau, expérience exceptionnelle, petit déjeuner super, de pouvoir visiter l‘Abbaye le soir est fantastique. Petit bémol la voiture est garée loin, mais par contre le parking est spacieux. Le système de clé pour les chambres c‘est un peu compliqué.

Cadre exceptionnel, visite de l‘Abbaye seuls la nuit, le calme, personnel attentif, produits de qualité au petit déjeuner. ( pas compris ) Visite des environs avant l’arrivée des touristes. Un enchantement à quelques heures de Paris. On recommande!
