Fairmont Jakarta

This is my first review from Fairmont Jakarta. The hotel is very elegant and spacious, i come to the lobby and wonder where the receptionists are. I think it would be heplful if there are some staff who stand by around lobby and help guests with points and directions. I came at 2.30pm, check-in proses was smooth, the room was ready. Entering the room i found very nice welcome amenities with sweets and fruit platter. i love it. I wish there was an information letter which give me clues of what the benefit i can have from my membership. The room was upgraded thanks to all membership and the kindness of the hotel. It is really nice room with stunning view over south jakarta, i love the interior and lay out of fairmont gold suite. the room is well equipped with comfortable furniture, small but well designed wardrobe, and best appliances of housewares, i can not wish more comfort except the best cleanlines. The floor around the dining table was sticky but the house keeping man came and clean it right away. Also the door was loose and they fixed it instantly. The complimentary water bottles are too few but as i wish they gave me more and place it on dining table, very kind. Breakfast experience at Spectrum was excellent. In my opinion, spectrum restaurant it self has the best space, place, layout and table arrangement from all other restaurants. I was asking for reataurant tour and was amazed by the hospitality from restaurant team so i can see all possibilities for dining places. Back to breakfast experience, spectrum has a big choices of food and beverages even on fasting time which other hotel reduce the variety. Most employees are really helpful, alert, and prompt. On one dish i was unsatisfied, the chef and outlet manager were apologize for that, really nice gesture from them. But maybe they have to have more food testing before serving to guests. But other dishes was really delicious, fresh fruits and vegetables i really high appreciate and enjoy. So fresh and crunchy. I love it much. I was also enjoying the spa area, the wet area especially the jacuzzi is very relaxing. I had a massage but i think she can do better, and i wish she wore a mask because she was a bit coughing. Swimming was at own risk, there was no one except me and i was pretty long there, so nobody know if the guest is enjoying pool or drawning. Well, i was enjoying. Also i wish more signs of exit or reception so i dont need to puzzle around, wondering where i should walk, seeing other guests also confuse.
But overall it was a great stay at fairmont and i am thinking to come back again to make sure that the hospitality is the same standard not only on my first unforgetable experience but for next and after next. Heheh. Thank you so much and see you on my next stay.

I had some wonderful days at the Fairmont Jakarta and enjoyed many aspects of the hotel: The room had views over the greenery. There was plenty to try at breakfast. The gold Lounge staff were extraordinarily attentive and everybody in general were just SO nice!

Finally, with the addition of 'The Crown', they now have a fantastically fine-dining restaurant on the top level!

Very posh, smell, aesthetics, breakfast

I just spent few days at Fairmont Jakarta, and I want to share the remarkable experience I had. The hotel is just magnificent, huge, well decorated, with always amazing flowers in the reception, you feel you are in a French Chateau. The room is just perfect with all the needed and the view from the room is spectacular, and I was only in floor 17.
I want also to mention the lounge at floor 21- a nice place to be and relax, with always drink, snacks and even delicious dishes at the evening, and the team knows to give a real 5 stars experience!
But what I really noticed and appreciated is the fact that despite the hotel is huge with many rooms, guests, team you feel you get a personal service. I was impressed by the reception team- so helpful, remembering every details making you feeling that you are the only guest in the hotel;-)

This hotel is excellent. Having direct access to Plaza Senayan is a major perk.

What I liked

• Spacious rooms for a business hotel.
• Good breakfast selection.
• Outstanding staff, warm, attentive service throughout our stay.
• We were upgraded to a junior suite, which doubled our enjoyment.
• The pool is well suited for families with toddlers.
• Special thanks to the team who assisted us from arrival to checkout, and to the lobby staff for the thoughtful decoration and surprise cake for my daughters: Mbak Nabila, Mbak Shervy, and Mas Ilham (apologies if I’ve misspoken any names).

Minor suggestions for improvement

1. More children’s activities. I understand this is primarily a business hotel, but adding family‑friendly options on weekends and long weekends would attract more families.
2. Mall access escalator. The current escalator is narrow and awkward for baby strollers; a wider or alternative access would help.
3. In‑room TV content. Add more variety, especially streaming options like YouTube.

Overall, a very enjoyable stay and great location, excellent service, and family‑friendly amenities.

Excellent hotel with wonderful front office staff.
Had booked thru Accor apps as ALL platinum for 2 rooms for 2 nights stay.
Both rooms were upgraded to Gold Suite King on the same floor.
Rooms were fabulous with 270° view.
Automated curtains, wonderful tub, heated Japanese styled toilet seat in bedroom which is wonderful as room were superbly cool, especially during the morning.
Pool was so-so, but the heated Jacuzzi nearby really make up for it.
Gym were fantastic and huge.
Hotel is connected to nearby Plaza Senayan thru an underpass.
Bearkfast was excellent with great and many choices.
Special mentioned to Ms Yolanda and Ms YaYa from reception and lobby.

Convenient location connected to Plaza senayan mall.

Great hotel in Jakarta, next to the biggest sport arena in town.
Breakfast, gym facility were perfect.

Loved everything, location was perfect for our purposes, food was great.

The room, the staff, the foods, and the location. All are great. Definitely worth the price!
