Thé mattress left much to be desired. Hotels need the have the very best quality mattresses to ensure the best rest!!

A wonderful base to explore Prescott from.
Pros:

Loved the location, the history of the building, the friendly and helpful staff. Perfect base for a stay in Prescott.

Cons:

I wish the bistro opened a little earlier for breakfast. 7a is good for a tourist but adds an early riser who has work from 8a it was a little tight.

NO ELEVATORS!

Well, it is a cool old hotel. Great location. Hats off to the people keeping this historic landmark alive.

Cons:

NO ELEVATOR! Wish I would have read the fine print on the elevator. Its been out for a while and don't look like anyone is working on it. They put us on the 3rd floor furthest from the stairs. Mind you these are 14 ft ceilings and that's a long haul. I'm 72 and we had a lot of stuff to carry up. My wife has a bad back. The window AC was loud and kicked on every 40 minutes or so. Im a light sleeper and woke all night. AC was louder than the TV so didn't bother watching it. Not worth $250 per night.

Great location. Room was ok.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and hotel is in a great location.

Cons:

We had requested an early check in for 2:00 and it was confirmed by the hotel. The room was ready until almost 4:30, which was over an hour past normal check in time. Additionally, the room could have been cleaned better.

I will stay there again on my return trip next year.
Pros:

I enjoying staying at the vintage updated hotel. It helped me imagine what life was like back when the hotel was built and the buildings and businesses which surrounded it.

Cons:

The room was not well lit. More lamps would have been better.

The elevator was out of service. That is a big problem for us in the older population. Especially when you're booked on the 3rd floor.
