Overall it was good experience
Only one thing that was internet was not very good.
We enjoyed our stay very much in Anik hotel. One of the best in class in Phnom Penh.

Superb as usual. Quiet, comfortable and an oasis of peace. Lovely staff, and the Manager whom we knew for many years has returned to work here, so that was an additional bonus. Breakfast is still good, tasty and substantial. Excellent value for the money.
Fewer toiletries this time around. No shaver kit (apparently they ran out and the supplier hadn't sent more), no hand soap and amenity kit. The other stuff were still given.

The massage/SPA experience. The room badly needs renovation. It was very noisy during the first night of our stay, due to the conditions site next to the hotel.
Staff are all very nice and helpful. The room is big and have a large refrigerator with washing facility.
There is construction next to the hotel and they start working at 6.00 a.m. It waking me up too early in the morning.
The swimming pool was very welcome in 40deg heat. The staff are helpful and friendly.
The air conditioning in the room would alternate between sweating and freezing. The WiFi was very slow.
Nice hotel, however next to a very loud construction site. So we asked to be moved to one of their other properties: Anik Boutique. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. But after the first night we had to change rooms again, as the first one smelt of sewage. Again, the staff was helpful and gave us a room upgrade. The breakfast buffet was very good.

See earlier review. It's for the same stay. I just made 2 bookings cos my bro-in-law's family could only make it for 2 nights instead of my 3 nights. All comments remain relevant.

My go to hotel in Phnom Penh... it has maintained its standard all these years. I probably stayed there for almost 10 years. Always a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. Lovely rooms, superb beds, and really good quiet aircon. Good toilets, good shower, no weird smells or sewage smells which is very common in many hotels in PP. Quality buffet breakfast although it's been whittled down significantly since the COVID pandemic. Staff are almost all new, only one guy is left from the pre-pandemic period. But staff are still good and helpful. We booked one room for the first night and then 2 rooms for the subsequent 2 nights. I requested for a free upgrade to the family apartment which has two bedrooms with a king bed in each room, and it was graciously acceded to. There are two toilets - one attached with a bathtub which my kids loved and another toilet in the kitchenette area so effectively each room has its own toilet. Plus there's a nice dining table with 4 chairs for meals and also a small sofa with a coffee table. Lots of room for the kids (3 of them) to run around and mingle and have great fun. By the way, there are 3 32" Sony TVs in this room... one in each bedroom, plus one in the silting area. A fridge and an induction hob completes the set up. Outstanding value actually.
Staff are a bit raw. Not much experience but it can't be helped. All the experienced staff left during the pandemic. And it doesn't help that tourist numbers are still very down in Cambodia and the staff don't really have as much to do hence the inexperience.
The staff was really helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious and clean. I enjoyed the food in the restaurant. It was a pleasant stay.

needs refurbishing - carpets in common areas totally worn out
New and very clean hotel. Great location, great service, rooms big enough, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast. We appreciated the pool and pool bar as well. National monument is just 8 minutes walking.
