Very dirty, building is old, elevator is terrible, entrance like entrance to barracks.
Staff was friendly, the park is nearby

Internet didn't worked on the 5th floor in my room,too loud people keep banging doors form early morning.

кровать одно спальная - сдвинутые две кровати - между которыми огромная дыра. можно в нее провалиться. полотенца одно большое и два маленьких - и это на двоих. а так в целом переночевать можно

Готель відповідає ціні, хоча і є деякі проблеми. Не дуже зручне розташування. Бажано зробити ремонт у кімнатах (можливо і капітальний), пульт до телевізора не працює. Привітний персонал. А загалом, цілком нормальний бюджетний варіант на 1 ніч.

Attention! This Hotel has MOUSE or RATS through its walls and floors! My stay here was disappointing. True that this hotel is very basic, but no Hotel should have mouse or rats making noises at night trying to scratch the walls or floors looking for food! First the building is very shabby and old.
In fact it's a student accomodation building and only floors 4-5 are the Hotel. There are no signs to the hotel until you walk in the main building. Receptionist don't speak English. Wifi is super weak. Hot water only runs for 3 minutes. Half of the lights did not work. In the room was a fridge, this was at room temperature. Curtains are very transparent and too much light gets in at 6am. My room however was upgraded to a superior room with no explanation why.
but unfortunately the sounds of mouse at night made it a hotel of horror! The location is also not very close to metro, 20 min walking or taking a tram/bus.

Das „Hotel“ war in einer Studentenunterkunft. Wir haben dort nicht übernachtet.

Very bed service no internet in the room very dirty and after I booked and paid for they try to make me pay more than double more that what I allreddy payd for

This Hotel is far from anything. It is also a student Hotel for the Hotel Collage in Kiev so at night you hear the kids make noise. There was a lot of construction all around the Hotel so around 8 in the morning you hear the workers working. There is nothing to do at this Hotel. It is only 2 floors in a 14 floor building.

The staff was good and friendly and helped with getting cheap taxi services.

Es gab kaum Beleuchtung im Zimmer, ausgerissene Glühbirnen, eine Lampe, die man erst ein bisschen "schütteln" sollte, damit der Kontakt passte..Auf der Frage, ob man etwas mit der Lampe machen könnte, galt ein Schulterzucken als Antwort...WLAN hat auf meiner Etage nicht funktioniert, auf anderer schon. Eine Rechnung könnte man nur von 10 bis 16 Uhr bekommen, was nicht einfach ist, wenn man geschäftlich den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist. Allerdings die Rechnung per E-mail eingescannt zugeschickt bekommen.Vorm Haus ist ein Rudel verwilderten Hunde gelaufen..

The bathroom stinks from the sewer. Shower rod is non existent. Toilet seat is broken. Room was too bloody hot to sleep. Lots of stuff in the hallway.
Room wasnt cleaned during our stay.
Staff doesnt speak english.

My stay was wonderful here in this hotel for me. Proved to be more than I expected the hotel is a trainee hotel for the University. While I was here they had several dance festival. Right across the street there is a Park with a lake if you want a fitness place there some areas for exercise and of course walking and running in the parks. Adjacent to this wooded park there is a war Memorial Park which has amusement park rides. Be warned the hotel it's a little old and it's in the process of being renovated, but it is very popular with the locals to my surprise. Today Star Media one of the largest Ukrainian media companies start shooting a film or documentary here inside the hotel. Never had that happen to me before.

If you set your expectations appropriately, this won't be a bad place to stay. However, there is a lot of room for improvement as well.

To begin with, it is very hard to find the hotel because there is no sign by the road. The hotel is located inside an undergraduate dormitory at the hospitality and economics university in Kiev (an odd combination academically to be sure). There are multiple room types; if you book a twin room there is a shared bath. The suite and junior suite have ensuite baths. This is properly disclosed so do pay attention to what you book.

The facilities are old and not in good repair. Considering the price, the deferred maintenance isn't surprising, but the refrigerator didn't work in my room and apparently hasn't for two years. Carpets are worn and dirty. The common areas are faded and in need of updating. WiFi struggles to provide a good connection as in many Soviet-era concrete institutional buildings.

This isn't the fault of the hotel, but there is a giant construction site next door and they start early in the morning every day with very noisy construction. Be aware of this "free alarm clock" or ask for a room not facing it.

Many of the facilities and services advertised are borderline fanciful - it's a worn, threadbare college dorm, folks. One with friendly staff who are making the best of it, but a college dorm nonetheless. Set your expectations appropriately and you will not be disappointed. The star level should be one star, though, not 2.5.

The front desk is manned by disrespectful kids who can't speak English, pretend like they're stupid and demand extra cash before they hand over the keys.

its a big university that have a few extra rooms that they use for a hotel, uou have to share toilet with other rooms i wass their a few minutes and i checked out
