This was a beautiful apartment in an amazing area walking to the beach the wood architecture was incredible. Staff was helpful the apartment was super cozy

Positive surprise, very modern, well equipped and clean apartment. Wifi available. Friendly staff. Very quiet even in very central location. We had nice balcony with lovely flowers. Highly recommended. We will come back for sure. Suitable for big families as well.

My husband and I had spent a very special week in Jūrmala at the Aparthotel Wooden Villa and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, staff and proximity to the downtown Jūrmala/beach area. Our apartment was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable for our week there. Would highly recommend staying at the Wooden Villa, especially for a longer stay.

Great pl;ace to stay - spacious, well-equipped and right next to the sea and Jomas Street.

I spent a Winter break at the Wooden Villa and had a really pleasant and productive experience. The aparthotel is in on a tree-lined, mostly residential section of Dzintari in Jurmala, with easy walking access to the restaurants of Jomas Street and to the famous beach at Majori. The building is beautiful, a lovingly restored 19th century wooden house. The grounds around the gated property seemed spatious and designed for client use, but of course were under snow when I was there.
Checking in was exceptionally easy, with instructions in English and Russian and a manager who was competent in both.
I rented the one-bedroom option, which was well-maintained, spacious, and had plenty of work space. I could not make the coffee-maker work, and the mattress on the bed was soft as a leaky air mattress, but those are my only complaints about an otherwise perfect visit.
It is an aparthotel: the guest must prepare his food in the room's modest kitchen, arrange with the management for delivery, or eat at any of Jomas Street's restaurants (I chose the latter). There is also not onsite management 24/7, though guests have a number to call in emergencies
Prices may be higher, and things may be less quiet, during the high season, but I thoroughly enjoyed my Winter stay at the Wooden Villa. I wish I had taken a longer break, and hope to return for another stay.

I spent a Winter break at the Aparthotel Wooden Villa, so I can't speak for what it's like in Summer. But for my needs, it was perfect.
Located in a leafy, mostly residential area but within easy access to touristy Jomas Street and the famous beach. The building is a lovingly restored 19th century beauty.
English and Russian instructions and communication is readily available, which I greatly appreciated.
I stayed in the one-bedroom apartment. Room was large, clean and spacious, with lots of work space. Couldn't work the coffee maker, and the mattress was so soft it threw me out of bed twice, but those are my only complaints.
It is an apartment-style motel. For meals, one must cook for oneself, arrange to have meals delivered, or venture out to the many restaurant choices of Dzintari and Majori. There is also not a 24/7 attendant. Neither of these are problems.
I would happily have stayed a full week at the Wooden Villa, and I hope to return.

Sehr geräumig und vor allem auch hohe Räume. Das Meer auch nur ca.150 Meter entfernt, Restaurants usw. alles in unmittelbarer Nähe. Es war auch sehr ruhig.

Nespresso kahvinkeitin plussaa, kapseleja sai respasta lisää, hyvä niin, koska kapseleita ei saanut mistään lisää.
Keittiön varustetaso heikko, jos suunnitelmissa ite kokata.

Täydellinen sijainti, rauhallinen paikka mutta silti kaikki lähellä. Asunto oli siisti, tilava ja sisustus oli upea. Kaksi suihkua oli luksusta.

Everything is great here! The apartment is very nice: a large living room, two toilets, a nice and clean bedroom. Cabinet looking balcony. All facilities at the kitchen. Just several meters from the gulf. Several blocks from Joma street.

Spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet with private parking and secure courtyard.
Apartments have washing machine, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and all necessary for cooking. There is even possibility to have a small grill outside for barbeque.
Everything close - beach, main pedestrian street Jomas, Concert hall, restaurants.
We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderfull hotel.

Perfect location - 1 minute to the sea, 3 minutes to Jomas street, 2 minutes to Concert all. Very beautiful apartment, all you need is in, everything is fresh. Personnel is super friendly.
Tea and coffee served at reception for free for the guests.

Excellent apartment with modern furniture, by the sea in a very quiet spot. Great staff and value for money. Absolutely recommend and will be back myself.

Ansich eine schöne Wohnung und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Küche könnte ein wenig besser ausgestattet sein. 1Topf ist nicht so toll. Mehre kleinere Lichtquellen worden es gemütlicher mache.
