Nice little budget hotel but inflexible customer service.
Pros:

This is a hotel popular with foreign guests and the hotel has some expertise with this clientele. It's a budget hotel but one of the better ones in the area. It's in a relatively peaceful location and the rooms are standard size and comfortable. Most importantly the staff, which seems to compromise mostly of young Nepali guys are extremely pleasant and have been trained well with high professional standards and behaviour.
This is a matter of management policy but the staff have no disrecetion what so ever to offer even a small discount even if the guest has a valid reason to request one.
I am the CEO of a travel company which regularly brings more than 300 guests a year to Nepal. However for this service discrepancy I can't recommend this hotel and we won't be using it.
By the way ( I know this is very common in Nepal) in addition to the staff's inability to offer even a tiny discount ( about 3 USD) you will be charged an extra 4 % on your bill if you pay by card. Just add this to the price of the room and food.

Cons:

Management should trust their staff.. even a little.

Pros:

Very well located, ratio quality/price is excellent. The staff is also very nice and helpful.
Pros:

I really loved that it was located close to everything. I arrived very late and they still arrange me to check in at 2am, very appreciated that. And it’s very cheap!!

A nice enough hotel with good staff which requires more investment and greater attention to detail.
Pros:

Nice enough room - windows on two sides, good lighting. Attentive, helpful staff. New fridge in room. Lift to 6th (top) floor!

Cons:

New television, but no television box provided in the room. Poor breakfast. Dark corridors. Unkempt roof area - could be great relaxing area if renovated and maintained. Unable to change the aircon temperature in room. Only a kettle and glass provided in room - no tea, sugar, cup, spoons, etc. Broken, barely filled soap dispenser in bathroom (mercifully along with two functioning dispensers).
