Rooms are small, but clean and nice views
Beautiful and cozy rooms, gorgeous stunning views, but the service is what took this boutique hotel to the next level. Master level hospitality.
Large room, with good bathroom. Short walk to the metro. Area did feel safe once got one's bearings. Pleasant area downstairs to read, wait or buy breakfast. Very modern hipster vibe.
Room a bit sparse. Did obtain a kettle when requested. Had to book in to have one's room serviced. Rarely saw any staff. View of Manhatten a bit disappointing when had paid extra for a room with a view and staying 5 nights.
The room was very cold and the hotel did not accommodate properly . We were very uncomfortable and the room never heated up on a 15 degree nyc night .
This review could go on for many pages. Our daughter was married on January 18th and our out of town guests stayed at the Boro Hotel for the weekend. It was nothing short of a fantastic experience. Starting several weeks back, we booked a block of rooms with Michelle, the General Manager, along with a "bar takeover" welcome party with Nick. The execution was flawless. The rooms were clean, and the beds very comfortable. Many of our guests dined at Beebe's Restaurant at the Boro and were very happy with every aspect of their dining experiences. The "bar takeover" party allowed us to utilize the bar and adjacent space to host a gathering for the wedding party and out of town guests totaling 50 people. Beebe's served hot appetizers (mozzarella sticks, Pepperoni chips, and Wings), along with several different pizzas, all of which were amazing. It was a great event. The complementary coffee and wine in the morning and evening respectively were a real hit as well. We would not have changed a thing about our stay. Even the parking at the LAZ lot on 39th Avenue and 1st Street worked out pretty well. It is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and provided a very safe and secure place to park our vehicles for those brave enough to drive into the city.
All of this was a byproduct of Michelle's great attention and dedication to details that is the ethos of the Boro staff members. We will be sure to return to the Boro every time we visit our daughter and son-in-law in NYC. Truly an exceptional experience.

La posizione perfetta per visitare New York. Metropolitana a 100 metri diretta a Manhattan
Scarsa pulizia del pavimento in camera.
The room was fairly large and clean and they left us extra towels in the room which was super convenient. It was convenient to public transportation and the rooftop was lovely, as well as the food from the restaurant.
There are no plugs near the bed to charge your phone and you had to get out of bed to turn the lights off. The room's HVAC didn't work correctly so even though we set the temperature, it never got cool. Also the room could have used one more chair to sit/put luggage on as it was pretty sparse. It was also very $$$ for the area and what you get in the room.
