Beautiful classic hotel, very quiet and comfortable rooms
more choices for breakfast
Love the old-style hotel, very quaint. Great staff, great location, free parking and wifi, good breakfast included.
Could use a night light in the bathroom and could update the TV. (larger and HD).

Lovely hotel and staff were lovely
No housekeeping during our stay was poor, we were left without service for two night stay. Plus the bar and restaurant were closed on one of the nights we stayed which we were not warned about, overall

Front desk and Library bar staff were awesome. Dinner and live music were wonderful. Bed was comfortable.
The breakfast was a disappointment. Coffee was warm at best, and weak. Eggs were obviously not 'real' eggs. Toaster took a long time so people waiting.
I liked the boutique hotel experience and the town of Paris.
The hotel was warn and in need of a facelift. The toilet kept running because the flapper was faulty. This was not the fault of the hotel, but there was a wedding party staying at the hotel who acted like they owed the place. They were very loud and were partying most of the night. In the morning at breakfast, one of the guests was holding court in the breakfast area and made it for anyone else to talk.
This hotel is well located and has themes rooms but unfortunately it needs a lot of upgrade. Looks run down, especially the carpeted floor in rooms and hallways.
We got there and the whole street was in construction . The whole Main street gutted down . Hotel did not advise us prior to arrival .and would not accept our cancellation on the same day. In the morning the whole room was shaking even though we were given a room at the back of the hotel . We did not feel understood by any of the staff member and had to discuss with Booking.com for compensation
Was hoping to see a ghost! Didn’t happen! Oh well maybe next time. lol

L'hôtesse d'accueil c'est finalement rendue disponible et nous à chercher une solution à notre problème.
Elle nous a proposé de changer de chambre, mais cela a été comme un pansement sur une jambe de bois.
Hôtel en mauvais état.La fenêtre de la chambre verrouillée soit disant pour des raisons de sécurité.La fenêtre de la salle de bain impossible à ouvrir,le mécanisme est complètement cassé, la fenêtre coulissante de bas en haut sort de son rails et ne tient pas ouverte.
Grosse moquette au sol non précisée à la réservation et non compatible avec les allergies respiratoires et de peau.
Le ménage dans la chambre très succinct.
Et pour couronner la nuit,de gros travaux de voirie tout autour de l'hôtel avec de grosses pompes de relevage des eaux usées qui ont fonctionnées toute la nuit, plus la reprise des travaux par les ouvriers et leurs engins de chantier de très bonnes heures au petit matin.
Petit dej pas trop mal si ce n'est les croissants dur et secs comme des pierres loin d'être frais du jour.
Excellent service, very helpful staff and a beautiful property/rooms. The location is perfect and having a city parking nearby was definitely an extra bonus. We were a group of 7 and everyone had a great time here!
food was not as great as expected, especially the breakfast - very little variety, it was included in price so we didn't expect a lot, but it could definitely have a few more choices.
Close to the wedding venue
Construction outside made it inconvenient to get to River’s Edge.
L’hôtel est situé en plein centre-ville, dans une petite ville qui s’articule essentiellement autour d’une rue principale. À notre arrivée, l’accès à l’hôtel était compliqué en raison d’importants travaux de voirie juste devant l’établissement, occasionnant également beaucoup de bruit. Malgré cela, une chambre donnant sur la rue nous a été attribuée. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, ce qui a été fait rapidement et sans aucune difficulté.
La chambre était spacieuse, mais mériterait toutefois un petit rafraîchissement. Concernant la ville, nous avons été quelque peu déçus, notamment au regard de sa réputation de « plus belle ville de l’Ontario ». Elle est extrêmement petite et le tour des principaux points d’intérêt se fait en une vingtaine de minutes.
