Todo muy limpio, muy buena ubicacion
Great location. Amazing staff.
Nothing comes to mind.
First time at this hotel and it had 100% exceeded my expectations from the friendly staff at counter upon check-in to the house keepers and engineer's.
The room was specious and clean. The ocean view was the best.
The only thing I would recommend when sitting on the outside deck is for other customers not to smoke pot other then that the stay was 100%.
Great location… had a nice balcony facing the ocean and was able
To watch air show from there when they practiced.
Staff were friendly and attentive.
Room seemed like it was cleaned in a rushed manner, dusty and had a dirty pillow case.
Refrigerator was leaking water.
Door going out to balcony wouldn’t stay shut or lock.
The handicap accessible room and pool were perfect for my mom. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful
The bathroom could have been cleaner
Location
AC did not stay on and we were unable to control the room temp. The TV and wifi signals were weak. Several TV channels would lose signal so we were unable to view certain channels at length. Additionally, the wifi signal was inconsistent. We stayed in an ADA room on the 4th fl close to the staircase and elevator - so noise was sometimes an issue.
Unfortunately, this was our 2nd but last time staying here.
The location was great. Room size was perfect. We loved the big balconies at our Cabana suite.
The tub did not plug. The website is a little misleading about the food options being at the hotel. No cabana bar open at poolside and Grottos pizza is not on the property or close by at all.
Room size. Very clean bathroom. Balcony was very large and was great.
No breakfast.
The location was fantastic for the OC airshow. We also enjoyed the cafe although a little pricey.
I wish people didn't smoke on the 1st level or on balconies. The room was a little small, but understand that is the hotel design and the location is what we are paying for.
Being right on the boardwalk nearly dead center for the air show.
How the doors slammed so loud. People who weren't staying there coming up on the promenade taking the chairs and standing around. The people staying there like my self had to sit in a chair from 6 am just to be able to see the air show. Someone needs to police these people. My room was on the promenade and even I had a hard time seeing with all those people.
The location and the room setup.
It took to long to get into the room. We arrived early, knowing check-in is at 4, but didn’t get in until around 6:00. That shouldn’t be.
It is a great location!
Last year we had zero complaints! This year, we got there early and they were accommodating with parking. They said check out wasn’t until 11, so we may have to wait. We told them we were 100% fine with that as we knew we were very early. We didn’t expect an early check in. At 11 am we were called and told our room was ready. We were excited. The room was not cleaned. Sand was still all over the floor. We had to get a broom to sweep up.
Location to boardwalk
Cleanliness was very poor (trash on floor of room, floors were so dirty my feet got dirty after taking a shower, white painted doors were black from lack of wiping cleanliness). Checkin process was extremely delayed (checkin window was 4-5pm, room was not ready until 5:55pm). I was charged parking for my one vehicle, when the hotel has on-site parking under the hotel.
I booked a stay at the commander beach house hotel this past weekend check in was June 12th at 4pm and I was only there until Sunday I got there after 4 it was actually after 5pm when I was trying to check in so about an hour and half after the check in time my room was not ready and the rude check in lady was not helpful an had no idea when it would be ready she then told me I had to pay for parking ( 20 dollars A DAY ) when that doesn't state it any where on the website that I had to pay for parking then I said after my room is not ready you still want me to pay for parking she laughed at me that really was so unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable the guy beside her told to just comp my parking but he said it in a really rude way. I walked away to go back to hang my parking sign up and then walked around for another hour and a half because I was told I would get a call as soon as my room was ready it's not almost 7 and still no call I go back and we speak to a different person they again give us such a generic answer no idea when our room would be ready made no eye contact with us its AFTER 7pm we are only there for 2 nights my boyfriend had to start snapping for someone to start taking us serious finally someone comes over and saids they gave us a small upgrade to get us in a room now and I don't believe that for a second because the room the put us in was the room I booked so im confused I don't like how not to mention your check in area was covered in flies your staff is rude and not helpful I wasted a whole day if I checked out after 11 you would definitely charged me is how is it acceptable for my room to be almost 3 hours Late? I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE THEY DONT CARE. and I was not the only ones who where experiencing this so many people where going off in the lobby.
Could not check in early like most hotels. Front desk staff was average at best. But for a small room the beds were comfortable. Location was good and near the board walk. Cleaning staff at beach house were the big reason THAT I did not give it a lesser review.
I get into town around 0700. I spent the day on the beach soaking in the sun and watching the practice for the air show this weekend. At 1430 there is a brief break in the practice and they announced the Thunderbirds will be coming back out at 1500. With the hotel behind me, I decided to walk over and see if my room is available to get that knocked out of the way as most hotels allow you to check in early. I got into the office area and the lady called me up to the counter. I could barely hear her as she talked way too quiet. Unfortunately my room wasn't ready and she took my information and would call me when my room became available. No problem, it is early and I'll go back out to the air show practice. She did offer to get me parking but told me it's $20 a day to park. Like really? Y'all don't offer free parking for your guest. Thanks but no thanks I'm parked in a free public spot next to the hotel so I'm good.
The practice ended after 1600 and still no phone call. I gave it until 1700 and walked back into the hotel to check on the room thinking maybe shift change or they forgot. I walked into the lobby of the hotel and noticed the same staff. I also noticed the lobby looked like the circus was in town and Barney was trying to hump the elephant again. From listening into conversations, I'm hearing a lot of ticked off people. I get in line and I hear guest after guest being told their rooms aren't ready. Like you all have 5 hours between check out and check in, something you do every day, how is no one's room ready.
The person in front of me got a room but the air conditioner is broken. The gentleman at the counter was trying to find them another room. He eventually found one but told them they would have to pay more for the room plus parking. Really? They should have been upgraded for free for the inconvenience.
I get called up to the counter by the same quiet lady. Same story, room not ready. Like how is it not ready? She couldn't answer? I asked how long will it be? Again couldn't answer. Like I paid for a room and I paid to be able to access that room at the check in time. I told her this was unacceptable. At this point, myself and all the other guest waiting are fired up and raising heck. I asked for the corporate number so I could file a complaint because we should get some kind of refund since the service we paid for isn't being met. Again she couldn't even get that for us.
Remember that couple in front of me, we're already 15-20 minutes past the time of them getting a new room but are still awaiting new key cards.
Additional guest are arriving and being called up and all being told the same thing.
We're all being attacked by these damn pesky flies while we wait.
Finally another counter agent asked me if I'm being help. So here we go. I said well this lady right here is about as useless as an empty Cheeto bag, can you get us into our damn rooms that we paid for. He gets on the radio and after 15 minutes he finally gets me into a room. Would you think he would provide instructions how to get there? Nope had to figure that out on my own. But he did get us the number for corporate which I will be getting a hold of next week.
I'm in the room. I will say it's spacious and nice to a point. The floor looks like a dog drug their butt across it for a good scratch. There is a TV but no TV channels. You need to connect it to the wifi. Guess what's not working, yep the freaking wifi. I had to stand on the dresser thing to access the air conditioner to turn it on. The fridge stinks like booze and nasty seafood and could use a cleaning. The floors are paper thin, had to listen to the guest above me stomping on the floors all damn night long.
