We cancelled a booking to a 5 star resort to stay here closer to the hiking trails … it was a mistake
Pros:

The staff were exceptional …great included morning hike ….made every effort to make up for problems associated with the age of the property and / or limitations I assume imposed by management .

Cons:

Lunch and dinner options boring and poorly executed … buffet food ordinary and cold because lids left open … bony chicken and fish fries the only “meat options”
À la carte took an hour to arrive !!
We came to hike and they had no simple map to explain the main trails in the area
The staff wrote out directions but missed vital steps which sent us off in the wrong direction
We were happy to pay for a guide but they were unable to secure one.
Our room was very old … clean enough but very tired
We left a day early , partly because of weather but more particularly because of disappointment
I came away with gastro !!
45 US charge for a ride back to Kathmandu an absolute rip off !

Memorable and restful
Pros:

Awesome! Gorgeous views! Very friendly staff.
These are some of the superlatives I could use to describe our 1 night stay. Wished we could stay longer but we are here for a meeting elsewhere and read the Nagarkot area especially the views from this property is well worth the visit.
Let me tell you it over compensate for any expectations you may have! The fantastic sunrise and mesmerising Himalayan range right from our balcony coupled with such friendly and helpful staff makes this a very memorable stay, indeed.
Special shout out to the very friendly and helpful reception staff. And the dining are chaps were so nice. And when we arrived the night before the front security chap was so tall and handsome like model!

What a wonderful stay
Pros:

Did you ever wake up with a view over the clouds? what a wonderful feeling. The food is exceptionally good, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are comfortable. I can really recommend this hotel.

Pros:

Fantastisk utsikt frå rommet med balkong. God atmosfære og vennlig personalet som såg oss og spurte om alt var bra utan å vere pågåande. Utsikten var ein stor pluss! Vi overnatta på hotellet då det var monsoon og mykje regn og tåke og små sjanser for å sjå Himalaya. Vi stod opp neste morgon kl. 5 og fekk sjå eit magisk lysspel. Og til slutt eit glimt av Himalaya! Men også utan ein får sjå Himalaya er hotellet og utsikten ei flott oppleving. Maten på restauranten likte vi veldig godt.

La ubicación cumplió las expectativas, pudimos ver el amanecer perfectamente.

Cons:

Hay una habitación solitaria en la planta mas arriba, que aún no ha sido reformada, estaba anticuada y un poco más sucia. Por lo demás, todo perfecto.
