We were there for supposed to be a honeymoon but the room was so hot. It was my first time to see a hotel with an electric fan. No air conditioning. The bathroom is flooding and there was limited towels for the flooded floor when you take a bath. When you use the toilet you don’t feel comfortable because the florid wet. It failed our expectation. I wish I could have complained but we just ignored because that’s natural in Switzerland that no Aircon inside the rooms.
Sorry for telling the truth in my experience. Your location is very beautiful as it is facing the beautiful lake but what matters is how comfortable are your rooms.
By the way I have to give complements to your breakfast. It was good.
Hope you will do something at your room # 6 where we stayed.

im zimmer gab es zwar einen wasserkocher, aber weder tee noch kaffee. für ein 4stern hotel beschämend. zum frühstück nur reismilch als alternative zu kuhmilch. weder soja noch hafermilch. kellnerin hat von hand eiswürfel aus dem glas geklaubt, als wir ein glas mit weniger eis verlangt haben.
Früstück war sehr gut. Leider sind alle drei Kaffeemaschinen gleichzeitig ausgefallen.

изначально поселили в номере в котором было очень шумно из-за ресторана внизу - по запросу переселили в другой но без ванной
Sauber, freundliches Personal, sehr gute Auswahl beim Frühstück
Frühstück war gut. Personal zuvorkommend/Hilfsbereit. Kühlschrank im Zimmer vorhanden, was super ist und leider nicht mehr so dem Standard entspricht, daher klar ein + Punkt.
Die Temperatur in den Zimmern war dann schon eher hoch. Die Beschattung lies sich dann nicht mehr runter fahren, ev. durch Wind etc. pp. und der Ventilator im Zimmer war dann auch "nur" ein Tropfen auf den heissen Stein.
The location is definitely the strongest point. The hotel is right on the lake, with direct access to the water, which is wonderful if you want to swim or simply enjoy the lakeside. The bus stop is also conveniently located right next to the hotel, making it easy to reach Thun train station and travel onwards to other places.
Breakfast was quite basic and nothing particularly memorable.
Overall, the location is excellent, but the small room, lack of a view despite booking a balcony room, unpleasant bathroom smell, and disappointing service made the stay much less enjoyable than we expected. For the price we paid, we expected a considerably higher level of comfort and hospitality.
Disappointing stay despite an excellent location
Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing, especially considering the price and the reputation of the area.
We booked a room with a balcony expecting to enjoy the beautiful Swiss scenery. However, our room had no meaningful view at all, only a parking lot and some trees. This was particularly disappointing because Switzerland is known for its spectacular views, and we specifically chose a balcony room for this reason. The room itself was also very small, and the bathroom had a strong, unpleasant musty smell throughout our stay.
Our first experience at reception was also not positive. The female receptionist was quite unfriendly and repeatedly told us that only suites had lake views. Thankfully, another male staff member later assisted us and found us a balcony room, despite us explaining several times what we had booked.
The most disappointing part of our stay, however, was the restaurant service. We felt that some of the female staff were particularly unfriendly towards us, and at times the treatment felt uncomfortable and almost discriminatory. We were sitting outside and ordered champagne, but the order was never brought. We asked three times, and even after waiting for around 30 minutes, nobody came back to us. There were only two or three other tables at the time, so the restaurant was certainly not busy. Eventually, we managed to find a waiter and raised the issue, after which our order was finally taken.

Zimmer 5. Stock grosszügig, ruhig, sehr schöne und stilvolle Möblierung, gutes Farbdesign, moderne Ausstattung,
gosses Badezimmer, kleine Dachterrasse, Frühstück alles was man braucht..
Hôtel très bien situé, au bord du lac, au milieu d'un parc avec des arbres magnifiques. Parking en sous-sol pour garer les motos en sécurité, parfait. Large spacieux, propre. Accueil magnifique à la réception. Nous avons eu la chambre souhaité, au dernier étage, avec une douche, un grand lit, comme demandé. Petit déjeuné très bien, les 2 salles sont grandes + la terrasse à l'ombre le matin.
Le seul reproche que l'on peux faire à ce très bel établissement est l'absence de climatisation dans les chambres. Avec la canicule exceptionnelle de cette été, la température les soir dans la chambre était de 30 degrés...Sans réelle possibilité de rafraichir la chambre pour dormir. Les ventilateurs c'est bien, mais cela fait beaucoup de bruit. Il serait judicieux d'installer des brasseurs d'air au plafond de chaque chambre qui apporteraient déjà une amélioration pour un coût raisonnable.
Die Lage war toll und das Zimmer war ausreichend groß mit kleinem Wintergarten! Das Bad ist neu und mit gutem Duschkopf. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut bestückt - mit Bircher Müsli. Die Lage ist unschlagbar und es gibt einen kleinen Zugang zum See
Die Matratze war wirklich unbrauchbar - mit zwei Fingern zusammen zu drücken und etwa 15 cm hoch - für ein 4 Sterne Hotel nicht angemessen.
Keine Klimaanlage bei 37 Grad Außentemperatur!
