Great location, wonderfull staff, room needs modernisation.
Pros:

Great view, fantastic acces to the lake. The staff were really nice and professional, not to mention helpfull. The wellness section was also really comfortable and easy to access. Food was great although the selection could use a little bit of expansion. They also had non-alcoholic cocktails which were really nice. The breakfast was also pretty tasty, and Im glad it was available until 10, because some places close it before 9.

Cons:

The room definietly needs an AC or any other way to cool it down. The desktop fan was nowhere near enough for it, and due to the placement of the room, there was no air movement despite the open window. The room became uncomfortably hot, and due to the presence of the lake, humid. The door to the toilet was a strange type of sliding door that you needed to push out a little bit, and then slide. It let the humidity of the shower into the room, and provided no barrier against the smells. The beds came with thick winter blankets, which we obviously couldnt use in the middle of the summer, so we had to use just the covers.

Great Hotel! Stunning views across the Lake
Pros:

Very nice, staff excellent!
Incredible view across the lake ...stunning!

Cons:

The restaurant staff were mostly super sweet, attentive etc. but some were stressed and not so welcoming. I waited 1 hr to be seated outise so better to reserve a table by the lakeside.

da der Preis eher hoch ist.....

Stunning location directly on Lake Thun. Swimming was wonderfully refreshing.
Pros:

A lovely hotel. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our upgraded suite enormously. The bathrobes provided were generous and of the softest and most luxurious quality. There was no air conditioning in the room, which we managed without but could be an issue for some visitors.

The location was just a few short stops by frequent bus from Thun station. The hotel has the most beautiful views situated directly on the stunning Lake Thun.

We made the most of direct swimming access from hotel to the lake. We were surrounded by beautiful views of the Alps as we swam.

The wellness area downstairs was absolutely spotless and of a very high standard. Thank you to Zar and the team for a memorable stay as we celebrated our special trip.

Cons:

Everything was of a very high standard.

Minor issue. Closing times. There was no access to snacks or room service after 9pm which was something we did not anticipate as usually holiday in Mediterranean areas with a very different cultural rhythm. However, this was something we should have researched better and will know for the next time we visit Switzerland.

Fantastic hotel with stunning views of the lake and wonderful hospitality.
Pros:

The chef was amazing, he prepared an extra something on the house for our dog! Thank you so very much!! The breakfast itself for us was good.

Cons:

I would have been nice to have had more fresh fruit and nondairy yoghurt options.
