Amazing stay!

Nothing short of amazing!

One of the best properties in the world. Everything is world class and you truly feel special. The rooms are spacious and elegant. Everyone knows your name and you have all your needs addressed before you can even think about it!

Beautiful property but understaffed for the amount of money and exclusivity that it represents

Perfection

I love the Auberge properties and this is one of the nicest I have stayed at! Loved everything about it.

When I read other reviews, thought they must be exaggerated or fake, but this place really is everything others say. Absolutely beautiful property. Warm, friendly caring staff. Loved the private flight experience to and from SJO. Waterfall hike tour. A little more challenging than we were first led to expect, but we made it, LOVED it! Casitas beautiful. Huge! Spa and fitness and pools all excellent, big, new.
Only minor criticisms:
Fitness centre equipment a little limited. No leg machines.
Food is overall very good, but some dishes a little underwhelming. Breakfasts excellent. In-room dining, so-so. Understandably food is pricey, as to be expected for the stature of the property. We spent an average of $170 US per adult per day for meals. We don’t drink much. Adds up.

We loved our stay here! It was the perfect vacation to ring in the new year. We highly recommend taking a private plane to the resort. Hacienda AltaGracia is the perfect combination of relaxation and activity. We loved the horseback rides, the ultralight flight, hiking and relaxing by the gorgeous infinity pool. The resort grounds are gorgeous. The food is great. The breakfast is top notch. The staff is top notch. We will be back!

Amazing place in every possible way. The property is absolutely gorgeous.Clran and pristine, and a paradise if you like horse back riding.. super luxury, the hotel has its own private plane to get there. 30 min flight to San Jose..

Overall amazing, its a bit expensive for the area for sure. Also not much to do in the area, off of the property, unless you want to drive for an hour or more. STUNNING Location

Your every need is attended to without any problem. Beautiful setting with five star accommodations, friendly staff and top class facilities. Breakfast and lunches were amazing but we were a bit disappointed with the dinner menu. Would definately go again in a heartbeat!

Peaceful place in the mountains/hills of Costa Rica. People were fantastic. From Karla the valet , Diego the bartender, Pablo / Miguel the horsemen they were personal And effective. We had a great time..

You can be as busy or chilled out as you want to be. The location is fabulous and the resort is perfection. Beautiful spa with large indoor salt water pool. The food was great and the staff were very attentive. I highly recommend flying from San Jose to San Isidro del General. Traffic around San Jose is a nightmare.

It was the healing experience my family needed. The resort is a welcome change from city life in America. Everyone is so warm and friendly and it takes you back to what is important in life: reconnecting with beautiful people and nature.

The staff, when it came to booking and helping with ideas for our holiday, were amazing. The resort is breathtaking. The casitas (villas) are first rate, the location is stunning and the staff could not help you enough. Super friendly and very professional. I want to go back soon.

Superb locale, staff, food, and atmosphere!! Fabulous service and amenities. The staff treats you like family and royalty at the same time. Multiple activities to choose or just relax. Grounds are heavenly and the climate can be variable but beautiful! Would recommend highly to anyone coming to Costa Rica--the hotel is the very meaning of "Pura Vida"

We stayed 4 nights at this great resort over Christmas 2017 in two Casitas together with our daughter and her boyfriend. The service at AltaGracia is exceptional and excellent. Never saw such personal and high class hospitality in a hotel.
