Muito bom mas poderia melhorar.
Pros:

Localização muito boa, perto dos atrativos e pontos de interesse na cidade velha. Café da manhã gostoso e servido até mais tarde. Decoração com objetos de época o que trouxe uma atmosfera vintage.

Cons:

O quarto tinha problema com escoamento de agua no box, todos os dia vazava agua. as cortinas estavam velhas e não corriam bem para fechar e abrir.

This hotel is a little gem.
Pros:

While this hotel is beautful, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and in a great location, the staff really stand out as exceptionally helpful and friendly. The breakfast, too, is memorable, a beautiful buffet that includes fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, eggs made to order, and much more.

Authentic hotel, stylish and comfortable, attentive staff, good breakfast. Staff and manager are very helpful, willing to go an extra mile, much appreciated.

Cons:

Not about the property, but the old town area of Montevideo is not the best place to stay if there is no specific reason to stay there.
Laundry service that works with the hotel was way too expensive.

Best Hotel experience in my life

My friend and I had the great fortune to stay at Alma Historica Boutique Hotel on a recent trip to Montevideo during the first half of January 2026. I have never experienced such personalized care and attention at any hotel in my lifetime. It felt as though I was visiting best friends. The daily complementary breakfast is terrific – with complementary juices, fresh fruit (it was ) pastries, sandwich meat and croissants, wonderful coffee and tea service and made-to-order omelettes. My room consisted of three rooms with local artwork on the walls and books related to the artist and to the area. The bathroom included a bidet and heated drying rack for clothing. Every member of the staff made me feel welcome and provided excellent service. My friend and I asked them about restaurants and tourist locations. They provided excellent advice. I give this hotel my highest recommendation.
