Pros:

I often visit Nagoya on business and have stayed in maybe 10 different hotels around Nagoya station. Meitetsu Grand is my top recommendation if you're looking for something better than a budget business hotel but with a reasonable rate. It's one of the most conveniently located hotels at Nagoya station, being less than 5 minutes from all the train lines and directly above the bus terminal. It's old but perfectly clean and everything in my room (shower, water kettle, hairdryer, etc.) worked fine. This is also a hotel my company relies on for good and prompt service, including replying to emails in English and receiving packages. And unlike a lot of other hotels here, early check-in is possible at an hourly rate (about 1,800yen per hour) and can be requested in advance to secure the room. Most other hotels require you to book an extra night or only allow early check-in if rooms happen to be available when you arrive.

Cons:

The Meitetsu and Kintetsu shopping malls below the hotel have unfortunately closed. There are still lots of other shops around but it's just a bit sad compared to before. I heard the hotel was also slated for closing but the closing date was extended.

全体的には良いホテルです
Pros:

駅から近く、ホテルまでの途中にお店もたくさんあったので下見ができた。
古いながらも綺麗に保たれていて、観光から帰ってきて夜過ごす分には何の不自由も感じなかった。

Cons:

風呂場の天井が低いので、背が高い人には窮屈に感じるかもしれない。
また、私が泊まった部屋の風呂場の換気扇フィルターがカビだらけだったので、あまり良い気分ではなかった。
たまたまかもしれないが、くつろぐ場所なので気を使っていただけると嬉しい。

Pros:

This hotel is really close to the Nagoya train station. It’s easy to go to different places by trains.

Cons:

The room size is a little bit smaller than I thought. My wife and I always have to pay attention to each other. Otherwise it’s really crowded for us in the room. By the way, the hotel room is old so that the noise from next door is very loud.

方便並且舒適的旅館
Pros:

地點方便，雖然離名古屋站走路有一點距離，如果是從新幹線或是要轉乘捷運需要預留時間走路跟找路，但地下樓層有可以連通回機場的名鐵站出入口超級方便!(但有一小段樓梯)，清潔部份尚可，但房間算大即使加床也很充裕，浴室是傳統的組合衛浴。

Pros:

Si llegas en tren, es solo tomar el ascensor al piso 11 para hacer el check, y si te vas en bus, solo tienes que bajar al piso 3, donde también hay un Family Mart. es perfecto para estar de paso, pocos días. Ruidoso porque se escucha el tren en forma constante. Instalaciones antiguas, en buen estado de conservación, todo limpio. Por las dimensiones de la habitación la cama matrimonial queda en un rincón.
