Etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Ruhige Lage in der Nähe vom Meer

Cons:

Das Bad hatte Fenster, die nicht dicht waren, und es zog sehr. Dadurch war es kalt. Die Dusche wirkte etwas alt und heruntergekommen. Es gab keinen Spiegel im Bad, der Vergrößerungs-Spiegel war auf einer Seite zerbrochen. Es gab kaum Ablagefläche. Der Schrank im Zimmer war zu klein und ließ sich nicht gut schließen und wirkte eher klapprig. Der Parkplatz kostet 15 Pfund/ Tag, was für einen open Air Parkplatz recht viel ist.

Gute Wahl für Kurzaufenthalt
Pros:

Schönes und grosses, gemütliches Zimmer. Bequemes Bett. Reservierter Parkplatz.

Cons:

Frühstück nur bis 09:00 Uhr. Trotz kühlen Temperaturen wurde das Zimmer nicht geheizt.

Wonderful location. Had dinner at a fabulous restaurant right down the block.
Pros:

The breakfast room was very convenient.

Cons:

It's too bad the hotel can't afford a renovation to make it feel less "tired". Although that has a certain kind of bygone era charm to it.

It was short and sweet but nothing to deter us from staying again, hopefully for longer so we could explore Southsea and
Pros:

Very handy coming off the ferry from France, parking could have been challenging but it worked out well for us despite arriving late evening.
Friendly welcome and a very good choice of breakfast in the morning.
A young man was extremely helpful carrying my wife’s heavy case all the way to top floor.
A bit of a rush only staying one night but we could have happily stayed longer.

Cons:

For us as an older couple getting luggage up to the top floor would have been challenging without help.
At 6’ 3” tall I felt the low overhead lampshade in our room was sharp and potentially dangerous if a hand or bare arm contacted it whilst dressing etc. I had a near miss experience so health and safety person might want to consider a change there.

Cons:

We checked in late after informing the staff way in advance (2 weeks before arrival and on the arrival afternoon) . We were really tired and once we got in the room it was really cold and the heating wasnt on or didnt work. We informed the receptionist and he kindly gave us a portable heater. However that took time to warm the room up. The heating was eventually working in the morning but thats really not acceptable. Also the bathroom floor is really cold and going there with no slippers was really uncomfortable. Also, I would expect more towels than 1 pp.

Séjour très agréable
Pros:

Quartier proche du front de mer, très bien situé. A 10mn du terminal des ferrys. Hôtel charmant, propre, literie confortable. Chambres lits jumeaux en rez-de-jardin très calme, rue peu passante. Chambre exécutive à l’étage très bien aussi. Les chambres sont grandes et bien décorées.
Personnel accueillant et disponible, nous ont servi à dîner bien qu’il était tard et les cuisines sur le point de fermer.

Cons:

Un peu plus de chauffage dans la chambre serait bienvenu en hiver.
