Friendly and helpful staff. Great food and perfect location
Very clean and well located for the Kola venue which was the purpose of our visit.
Having really enjoyed a selection of starters before heading out in the evening we found the included buffet breakfast somewhat disappointing (especially the odd tasting scrambled egg). In future I would forgo the breakfast and have something from their lovely looking brunch menu if time permits.

The only negative was no shower in the ensuite but we knew about this in advanve so it wasn"t really a problem
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.
We arrived at about 2220 having come across from Caen on the ferry and wanted to sit down with a cold drink and chill before going to bed. The bar shuts at 2230 so we managed one quick drink but as I suspect a lot of people also stop a night having arrived on the ferry, a closure time of 2300 would be appreciated.

Room clean and very nice except cups too small
We are older people and we were put on top floor of the extension. We should have been asked/told.
Beautiful decor. Central location
Really uncomfortable bed and lumpy pillows. Room poorly laid out. No mirror above dressing table. The mirror was opposite the bed. No mini fridge. Plumbing not great (smelly drains). Breakfast was £17pp extra. Room cost was already expensive.
Paid parking expensive. Spaces too small. Tried to charge us twice for parking.
We weren’t asked how our stay was on checkout.

Was a little hard to figure out where the reception office was, but after asking, they pointed us in the right direction.
Excellent location, really short walk to the beach and to bars / restaurants in Southsea.
Rooms comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff were all excellent and very helpful throughout.
On street parking which was a bit limited and on narrow streets so if you have a larger car it may be worth paying for the gated parking.
Rooms aren’t particularly sound proof - we could hear the TV and snoring from the next room!
