Room was fine. bed comfy. AC was fine.
The water hydro station in the reception area not being available once reception is closed. if you have a water bottle you have no way of filling it up as the sink in the room cannot fit a water bottle.
The only positive thing I can say is that it is fairly close to the airport and a McDonald’s next door.
Oh, where to start? Dirty room, bathroom smelled of sewage. Hotel room was so small. There was no place to sit other than the bed. The sink was across the room from the shower and toilet. There was no elevator so I had to carry heavy luggage upstairs. One power plug near the bed and it was next to the sink. I had to run all power cords for CPAP across the room and under pillows. I booked for two nights but checked out after one. I couldn’t stand to be in this room any longer.
Not very much .
The sheets were clean and the bed was comfy
Mould in the shower
Window wasn’t able to be opened and locked once it was open
The front door kept getting left open even tho the reception was closed . Just allowing any random person to walk in and out .
Not a very secure motel
Nothing.
- The entire hotel absolutely stank of human waste, the smell was even worse in our room - obviously serious problems with their pipes!
- Paid $10 per night for parking in a completely open and free car park in front of a McDonalds? Was told they couldn't guarantee that it was secure - what am I paying $10 for then?
We decided to leave and not spend the night as planned due to the awful smell and general safety concerns of the hotel, spoke to the receptionist and were told they couldn't refund us the night OR the parking even though our car wasn't going to be parked there overnight. Was told someone would be in touch in the morning to discuss a refund, haven't heard and Booking.com can't get a reply from them either.
Overall, I know you get what you pay for but for an extra $40 we got a stunning room 3 minutes down the road at a different hotel with clean sheets, clean rooms and lovely staff. The fact these guys won't even pick up the phone and their voicemail mailbox is full goes to show how little they care about their guests. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Staff friendly and helpful
Room clean (except for fridge door seal)
Fridge seals were broken and were mouldy
Lack of ashtray or bin outside hotel
Price.
TV didn't work and people outside talkimg in car park talking until all hours of the morning made it difficult.to sleep.
Shower cubicle
Key not working to room at 11 pm
The bed was very comfortable, and the sheets were silky. I appreciated that there were two towels. I also appreciated the lounge in the reception area, as I had to use it for the night.
The TV didn't work at all, not from the remote or the buttons on the TV itself. The USB chargers showed they connected and were charging my phone, but the power drained out of it, and with no alarm clocks in the room, I was unable to stay in it as I had no way of waking up on time. The USB plugs that were not working were discovered after the reception was no longer covered. So to ensure that I didn't miss my flight, I had to spend most of the night in the lobby so that I wouldn't oversleep with no way of telling what the time was. At least there was a clock in the locked seating area.
The bed was mega comfortable. The air-conditioning worked well & was nice & quiet.
There were hooks for your jackets & hangers for your clothes.
There was a communal toilet and laundry on the ground floor that anyone could use.
The hotel was situated right next to a 24 hour McDonalds & a KFC.
The toilet in the room was too small for me to use comfortably.
