This restaurant offers a comfortable and clean environment that feels welcoming. The food was excellent, and the prices were very fair for what you get. The service was fine, making it a great place to dine. I would recommend this place to my friend
Absolutely Horrible Experience! I booked on Agoda , they say they don’t work with Agoda and refused to let me stay unless I pay double price plus pay the original Agoda fees. Thẹn finally they say I can’t stay here no matter what. It’s so horrible, the Manager Lady is absolutely horrible and an awful person.
Do not stay at this hotel , it will be a complete nightmare, this is a very serious warning! This thè absolute worst experience I have ever had in Vietnam! That’s ạ horrible experience!
Outstanding design with a beautiful garden, salty and fresh water pools. Be suitable for relaxing to family or couple. with the restaurant overlookng the occean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience.
Binh An Village is a great place to escape the commotion of the city and relax near the sea. We stayed in the room that has the outdoor bathroom, which felt like bathing in a rainforest during our stay in the rainy season. Vung Tau is like a second home to us, and Bing An offers us a different environment than we get in the Front Beach area. The location is far enough from Front Beach to be quiet, but close enough were you can still get to places in a short motorbike ride.
They have 2 pools, one that’s fed by the sea and is saltwater, the other is a freshwater pool. We enjoyed the freshwater pool and rarely saw other guests. There didn’t seem to be a lot of other people around the property in general, and the staff was good about keeping the restaurant guests out of the hotel area. The ocean was rough during our stay in August due to monsoon storms, but during the winter it’s calmer and clearer.
The grounds are well kept and have a lot of flowers and nicely manicured gardens. It’s a relaxing environment to hang out and watch the boats. The staff was friendly and helped us with all our needs. They promptly fixed the malfunctioning air conditioner in our room. Being so close to the mountain and jungle, there were some creatures in our room like millipedes, but that’s expected in that type of environment so close to nature.
We ate at the restaurant a few times and the quality was good. The menu prices are a bit high, even for American standards, but I expect that at any seaside resort. The service is prompt and the view is excellent. I enjoy watching the ships and local fishing boats going by. The restaurant gets busy during weekend days.
Binh An Village has a small amount of boutique rooms offering guests a natural seaside environment that’s not overcrowded with weekend travelers from Ho Chi Minh City. It’s a pleasant place to stay if you’re looking for something more unique.
I completely fell in love with this boutique resort the moment I checked in since it has only 9 rooms & rooms are divided into 2 areas in a large land right next to the ocean, so I thought I’d have the quietness for myself (as the resort name itself Binh An in Vietnamese means peaceful). And yes, the 1st day was great as what I expected & paid for (the room rate is high compared to other luxury 5* hotels in Vung Tau city over weekend). I had lunch & dinner inside the resort since didn’t feel like going to town & though the F&B menu is limited but Im okay with it since I don’t consume much food & I only have espresso coffee & water as beverage. But the next morning till my check out time was really noisy with bunches of outside guests came for breakfast & cafe. They run around, shouting each other, smoking everywhere they can, entering the private area that supposedly served for in house guests. None of the staffs asked the outside guests to keep the place quiet & clean & respect in house guests privacy. I really felt bad for such beautiful place, although their staffs are so nice & caring, but somewhat I hope the training must be more proper so the resort can keep in house guests.
We were going to be in Vung Tau for an extended period of time and stopped at this place for a coffee with intention to look around for a potential stay in the near future.
I ordered a coffee for myself and a fruit juice for my wife. When the bill came it was about $US10. We looked down to a "kiddy pool" that was supposed to be a salt water swimming pool. The water was cloudy and the pool appeared it had not been used for a while. We asked if we could walk down to that level of property to take a couple of photos and were told the area was for guests only. It should be noted that the whole lower lever was empty and not a guest was in sight. I thought it was rude and I would not stay at a place where I could not walk around to see what was being offered.
Needless to say, this is a place I will avoid in the future.
This hotel is good location for relaxing.
We were only staying one night but wished it was longer. Place is beautifully classic. We had a Villa with ocean view. Perfect. Totally recommend.
Quiet isolated with very few people perfect for romantic get away. Breakfast on terrace overlooking ocean. Pool early in morning with ocean view.
Bathroom and shower outside in enclosed terrace was very beautiful experience.
There is no doubt this place is absolutely stunning, The rooms are AMAZING, the gardens lovely, pools clean and vibe is wonderful. However, we found the service to be lacking. With such a price tag, you expect little details to be sorted. LIttle things like; dirty dishes on the counter at check-in, room service plates were not tidied and left out overnight, and the security guard was very aggressive towards my husband and I when we returned in the evening. As I said, LOVELY place, just you expected better service.
It is close to the boathouse from Ho Chi Minh City.
It's a little way from downtown.
Be within walking distance
A spacious room,
very friendley employees.
visit again? absolutely!!
Stopped of here for Lunch as part of a tour, blown away by location - stunning.
Found Vietnam a bit impoverished in places, this came as a big surprise. Food outstanding and so varied. Would also recommend the local beer 333? Went down well with lunch, but views and setting, absolutely unique.
This property has been around for quite some time (early 2000's) and it has an excellent location, in the more quieter part of Vung Tau.
The design is very good, traditional, with a lot of natural materials indeed. It has 2 pools and a rocky beach, one pool fresh water, the other one salty water. We stayed here 9 years ago and were back for a weekend break again.
Unfortunately the rooms are not kept up with the time passing by, it is all clean, but it is all well worn out. (cracks), water taps dripping, doors not closing properly etc. Matresses for instance are old and worn out. The same counts for the reception area where also breakfast is served.
F&B ran out of half the options on the menu, (not available) and the coffee machine to make cappuchino was broken. All in all not worth the 2,7 million VND a night we pay for a night. Service for that price definately needs to be much better. If you are a traveller that comes from outside Vietnam to stay here, it is good to think twice before to book this property. The hardware is good. But the software is poor.
We found this resort is very nice in Vung Tau but with it's location you can't have the beach with sands.
About management, there are small details which could be improved. When we just checked in we saw a lot of water on the floor, after reporting to staff they informed the aircon was broken then we had to pack and move to another room. It's not so well clean in the bath room, some parts broken... It's not big thing but made our trip incomplete.
Just spent 7 days at the BInh An and has a super time, our room was excellent and kept really well by the housekeeping staff, we ate in several times and were satisfied by the quality and the price, the staff were helpful and attentive. We found places to walk for shopping, eating and sightseeing, we were sorry to leave, it was a great place to stay to begin our tour of Vietnam
I stayed here with my family on Feb and I must say the hotel has very nice view. The resort only has 9 rooms and all of them are bungalows. We got to stay in one near to the sea the sea. Lovely 2 floor rooms and the view is breath-taking. The staffs are ok not so professional level. Beside that, I would like to come back next time.
(+ ) Quiet resort, welcome aroma essential smell so leisurely, room so clean, varioty fruit in room, beautiful swimming pool and sea landscape pool.
( - ) Rest room a little dark less bright and use black color ceramic toilet cause feeling unclean. both pool should have a clear dangerous warning board about the depth because pool pretty deep est 1m7 not has terrarium area.
If in London and you wanted to get away to the coast (but not so far that it becomes a schlepp) you might head for Brighton. From Saigon the place to aim for (especially if you take the high speed boat, which is part of the fun) is Vung Tau. And in Vung Tau the place to aim for is the Binh An. I prefer to call think of it as a hotel because it's not really a resort (not much for children to do) and it is hardly a village. The rooms are, if anything, more attractive than portrayed on the website. The service is unobtrusive and great. The only thing that lets it down (thus explaining 4 Stars to this Review not 5) is that the restaurant is only average, especially for breakfast.
Very nice area, safe. Food was very good large selection of many dishes that give you the local flavor! Clean bathrooms and the local beer 333 is not so bad. If you get a chance drop in for a bite, the view is fantastic!
We stopped here for lunch as part of a shore excursion from the Sapphire Princess cruise ship docked at Phu My. The setting is amazing and the grounds are just beautiful to stroll through. The food was of a high standard and the dishes were spiced enough to taste absolutely delicious. It would be a lovely place to spend a few days.
