Had to remind staff a few times are breakfast about a drink order which they forgot.
Lovely decor
I was disappointed with a few aspects of my stay. We weren’t informed about ongoing building work until after booking a non-refundable room, and the noise early in the morning was quite disruptive.
There were also concerns around guest privacy. A member of staff entered the room around 5pm without prior notice, and we were later told this was due to not having a “do not disturb” sign on the door. I found this unsettling, as I would expect rooms to only be entered with clearer consent or communication.
I contacted management afterwards to ask about the safety of my belongings, including a laptop left in the room, but unfortunately didn’t receive a response. This lack of follow-up raised further concerns about how seriously guest security is taken.
Overall, I feel these issues should have been handled better, particularly in terms of communication and respect for guest privacy

We paid for a room with a big screen and projector and was disappointed it didn’t work but we was charged full price

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property. I wasn’t to please when I requested a happy birthday card for my partner and provided her name and they put my name on. Didn’t look good.

Beautiful building well-located. Lovely top floor bar. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great shower and toiletries
Starting to wear around the edges. A few carpet stains, loose basket in the shower, desk and chair scratched and worn. Toiletries bottles a bit difficult to use, they probably need to be replaced more regularly than they are to ensure continuous is ease of use

First time here and wasn’t blown away , hotel is in ideal location , rooms are nice my biggest problem was noise could here outside and people in other rooms and in corridors so I didn’t
Sleep great , cocktails in roof top bar were nice but noticed on checkout they hadn’t taken service charge off like we asked them , overall nice hotel its quirky
