Having lots of facilities but poor restaurant services is a major issue.
Pros:

Room was clean and tidy. Staff were excellent.

Cons:

The hotel was fine with nice rooms and a small, but somewhat crowded spa. But it was the dining situation which was most haphazard and lacking. Firstly there was no restaurant available other than than one in a separate building that stated ‘A place for gormets’ - great we thought; however, when I hear the word gormet banded about by restaurants I sometimes worry that it is a miss used term often used as an excuse for delivering average food of minimal portions for high prices. Well the restaurant at Mas Solà certainly lived up to that interpretation. The dining room was really lovely, the young lady and the Italian waiter were very good indeed and couldn’t be faulted, but I’m afraid the food we had at there was to be found wanting. We had for better food on our trip numerous times in most tapas bars and restaurant and of a quantity and quality far exceeding this restaurant. If they had served any less portions it could have been described as microscopic or maybe it was a place for people undergoing weight loss treatment ! Why these ridiculously minimal portions coupled with these prices. By all means charge a little more but present better more realistic portions. They also need to have a better more balanced Menu - in my opinion rather poor.
The restaurant except those two staff members lets the hotel down terribly.
Yes, you pay extra for good service and environment, and I certainly don’t mind paying for excellent food, but Mas Solà are really having a laugh.
They also need a second restaurant as an alternative rather than this one being the only one available on some days.
I very rarely give bad reviews regarding food but sometimes you need to tell companies it’s not about making money it’s about giving the customer quality and sensible quantity food. Especially when you use the term Gormet.

Pros:

Exteriores maravillosos. No pudimos usar la piscina ya que fuimos fuera de temporada.
La habitación está muy bien insonorizada (recordemos que el hotel se encuentra a pie de carretera).

Cons:

La zona del desayuno es muy pequeña y el desayuno como tal considero que habría que mejorarlo teniendo en cuenta que es un hotel de 4 estrellas.

La carretera se oye mucho, el pueblo de al lado está muy apagado y no es bonito

L'habitació estava impecable, el llit gegant i molt comode. El personal molt amable. El esmorzar molt bo.

L'esmorzar és espectacular. Vaig demanar pa sense gluten i ràpidament i sense fer-te sentir malament van torrar a dins pa i em van donar magdalena. Jo ho valoro molt. Bones instal.lacions i bones vistes de l'habitació. Rapidesa per part del sereno a les 5:00 del mati quan el veí va obrir la tele molt molt forta i no es podia dormir, per anar a dir-li que apagués la tele. Ho valoro molt. Bon ambient i encara que sigui separat del poble val la pena per la resta de serveis que té, com l'spa. Molta amabilitat per part de la recepcionista que quan vas a l'spa et donen una tovallola gratis més de les que tens. Tens sabatilles per llogar per anar a spa. Molt fàcil tot. Gràcies! Vaig anar fa 14 anys i està igual de confortable.
