Sejour reposant, accueillant avec un charme d'antan. Jolis jardins pour se promener, esplanades, bars. Pas de stress, check out à 12h00. Piscine agreable. Jolie salle et bon petit dejeuner.

Nice place to stay, would have liked to stay a few more nights but we couldn't change our schedule.
We had a fine experience overall, friendly staff, nice environment, good breakfast. And would definitely stay again.
My only complaint is towels need renewing, definitely worn out. 🙁
I have stayed in this hotel before and it’s my go to place when I just want a quiet couple of days away. The rooms are old fashioned and lovely, the restaurant is very good and there’s a nice bar. The area offers lovely countryside and places to explore and the hotel pool is very nice if you just want relax and read a book.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful and elegant, and set right in the heart of the Dao region convenient for tours and sightseeing. The staff was very friendly and helpful and helped us make reservations for tours at local wineries and other attractions.
The only negatives were 1) that the food at the restaurant was just ok, but that might have been because of covid issues; and 2) the bed was very uncomfortable.
Gostei muito do hotel ,o quarto era muito bom com varanda é uma boa vista. O único problema foi o colchão que achámos desconfortável. Tudo o resto muito bom

Traditional Portuguese country Hotel, set in fabulous countryside, with view os Serra da Estrela mountains. Dining room has high ceilings, and overseen by large oil paintings of historic figures. Several reception rooms all decorated in traditional furniture. Comfortable and welcoming. Staff is very friendly. Restaurant very good.
They have a swimming pool, and attractive garden for evening walks with view of country side. I’ve been several times, and will continue to return.
