Pros:

I liked how close it was to the beach and the room was small but it had everything we needed. I loved the night light in the bathroom and the heat after I took a shower. I love the bedside lamps and tables on both sides with somewhere to plug in phones. I really like the little table and two chairs in the room and the balcony was nice if the weather was nice with the table and two chairs outside the room.The TV was easy to use and had all the channels. That was important because the tigers game was on. I loved being able to walk to the pier and all around the Beach area. The refrigerator microwave were really a Plus also. I'm definitely telling all my friends and relatives about this place.

Inexpensive, but won't stay there again
Pros:

Staff members were pleasant enough. The room was extremely small, and the shower so small that it was difficult to maneuver, and I am not a large person. caulking round the shower was moldy and gross. It had a full size bed rather than a queen. The bathroom is tiny. The toilet was not cleaned sufficiently, as there was fecal matter on the seat. I brought disinfect and wiped it down. I did appreciate the broom and dustpan in the room to clean sand off the floor, and I did appreciate the laminate floor rather than carpeting as it is easier to clean and sanitize. The outside patio was decent with two nice chairs, however Lake Michigan was obscured by a berm, so was not visible. There were games and books available in the library, which is nice for rainy days and children. The room was inexpensive, but we won't stay there again. It's ok if you plan to be at the beach and not be in the room, but bring your own paper towels and disinfectant. I guess I am spoiled but I did expect better as far as cleanliness.

The property sits on Lake Michigan with a public beach & a lighthouse you can walk out to. Convenient walkable access to shops, restaurants and the harbor. Incredible sunsets & friendly staff.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Room was small but the patio was great (we were on the first floor). Very friendly staff.

Bathroom is in bad need of an update. Needs updated baseboards. Outlets are ok. We were on corner room facing the waterfront and you could hear the traffic but it wasn't horrible.

Large, updated room overlooking the Lake (with parking lot in front) - Great place to land after deboarding the ferry from Manitowoc. Fun watching the ferry from our balcony, leave the next morning.

The room was great very clean, it had all of the amenities even real glasses and dinnerware! Perfect views over the bay. The only downfall was the bed was not comfortable, Memory Foam Mattresses would be a perfect resolution comfortable and cheap!
