Baymont by Wyndham Cookeville

I always go there when I stay and Cookeville because it is a good value and is very clean and comfortable with the staff being very nice

Quiet location, yet near the highway (easy exit while traveling.) very clean and comfortable room. Microwave and refrigerator. Patio to sit outside. Friendly reception and breakfast staff. Price was very reasonable for the room quality

Room was clean, it was a good enough place to lie my head for a few nights, it's well lit outside at night and they have small balconies to sit outside. It's also 45 minutes from Fall creek Falls state park.

During my recent stay at Baymont by Wyndham Cookeville, I had a very positive experience and felt compelled to share it because many of the reviews here do not reflect what I personally experienced.

First, the staff and management were incredibly kind and helpful. My flight was delayed, so I arrived later than expected for check-in, and they still accommodated me without any issue.

As an international traveler, my credit card was temporarily blocked by my bank (they suspected fraud because of the foreign transaction).

The family managing the hotel patiently helped me work through the situation until everything was sorted out. That kind of understanding and patience goes a long way when you're far from home.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the general facilities were also well maintained. Yes, the building itself is older, but it’s clear that the people running the place do their best to keep everything tidy and functional.

Regarding breakfast, it was perfectly adequate for a morning meal. There was enough variety to start the day, and honestly it was exactly what most travelers would expect from a hotel breakfast. They even went out of their way to help me with dinner, which I truly appreciated after a long travel day.

Something I think people should remember is that Cookeville is a small town, not a major metropolitan city. Expecting a massive luxury buffet or a brand-new building like you would find in a large city isn’t very realistic.

What matters most to me when traveling is cleanliness, safety, and respectful treatment, and this hotel delivered all three.

Overall, I’m grateful for the hospitality I received and would happily stay here again if I return to Cookeville.

My request for first floor room was not honored. I made my reservations a month ago. Should have been honored. The place is dated but it’s clean over all.

I love that just about everytime I stay here, the staff remembers me quite well!! I have a particular room that I absolutely love staying in and just about every time I stay, they make it a point to accommodate me without me asking if that room is available! The staff really does do there best to accommodate you! Thank you!!

I paid for the hot tub room after getting off the road for me to get a nasty room I cleaned the room and hot tub then noticed it wasn’t a stopper I go to front counter for refund because they didn’t want to help me at all saying I only need a bed that’s not why I paid $114 plus $100 deposit for then charge $20 tfor cleaning fee when I’m the 1 who cleaned the tub etc didn’t have tap pay and atm wasn’t working I had to drive and find something open for atm for all this been going there for years now but to get off the hwy from a funeral to pull up to all this did it for me I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE AGAIN !!!! 🤬🤬🤬 Been a Wyndham reward member since 2012 smh

Black mold on bathroom ceiling, ceiling light with a tissue stuck up in it. So if your into health and fire hazard… this is the place to be! Im horrified!

Staff is very friendly and long term residents are as well.

The balcony in the room

The location is amazing! It is a quiet area overlooking the mountains. I love that there is a balcony on every room! We enjoyed sitting outside during down time. The hotel is right off of the highway!
