Passing through for one night.,
Pros:

It was a short stop for a tour of sunshine coast. The hotel was on a main road . Room was comfortable and the inside court yard was nice.

Cons:

the staff were not helpful when I asked about the breakfast options... Tea in a flask was too strong. No hot water to add to that. No offer of herbal teas. No milk for the tea.

Clean, everything you need
Pros:

The room was clean and thoughtfully stocked, the central garden with its koi pond and flowers a treat, the grab and go breakfast is a great idea. Nearby cafe and restaurants were tasty.

Cons:

Not that it wasn't enjoyable but the hot tub (7 people max) and swimming pool were smaller than I expect from the photos and often busy. The sauna was quiet.

Pros:

Fantastic location close to everything, beautiful garden setting, really nice renovated rooms, nice pool and hot tub

Cons:

The pillows were uncomfortably thick. Thankfully they are being replaced soon.

All .apart from Door Lock on room

Cons:

Was there for 5 days, ..varies staff tride to help unsuccessfully. For 5 days it took at least 4 attempts to open the door, and then with quite a kick. I was offered a change of room, but declined, this was on the ground floor, my wife is disabled.
Everything else great.

A good place to stay to explore the Sunshine Coast
Pros:

It’s an older hotel but well maintained. The flower garden with fish pond is very pretty and they have outdoor areas where you can relax
It’s nice they have a hot tub, sauna and indoor pool. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The bed was not very comfortable for us but maybe for others it’s okay.
They have a grab and go in the morning with muffins, fruit and coffee which is a very nice start of the day!
It’s located in the upper area which means you have to drive everywhere which is totally fine, the lower area is very busy and sometimes hard to find a parking spot but driving to other places is super easy and not much traffic. We enjoyed Gibsons a lot!

Cons:

As said the bed was not super comfy they brought us other pillows which we very much appreciated but they were too big for us as well. I would bring my own pillow next time :)
