Good location and kind helpful staffs made our stay very comfortable.
Pros:

The location is on the Old Quarter, walkable to most of Hanoi tourists attractions. If you're going to or from Sapa by bus, bus stop is very near. The staff are so nice and helpful. The breakfast aside from the ones already prepared can be ordered from breakfast menu. Highly recommended.

Peter and his staff have put together a magical experience in their boutique hotel. From the amazing breakfast, the well appointed and quiet rooms, and close proximity to the Old Town.

Great location and amazing staff
Pros:

Good location, everything is within easy reach. Comfortable big bed. Amazing staff. We were able to check in earlier. And even on the day we returned from our trip, even though we hadn't booked a hotel with them, we were able to leave our things, use the toilet and shower. It was really great.

Cons:

The room barely smells of cigarette smoke, whether from other balconies or from the street, but it's really unpleasant.

Pros:

Met by Paul at reception. Taken straight to our room at 1am. Breakfast in the morning is very generous. About 7 choices of cooked breakfast and loads of fruit . Outstanding breakfast.
Our room was 502 . Loads of room with a balcony .
Room cleaned daily . Bed very comfortable and large.
Staff are very friendly .

The hotel is situated just down a side turning . On the edge of the old quarters.

We had a great stay
Thanks to everyone at the Hanoi Royal.

Tolles Hotel in der Altstadt, ruhig und sauber mit super Service
Pros:

Tolle Lage am Rande de Altstadt, Läden, Restaurants, Bushaltestelle etc. alles in der Nähe. Trotzdem war es sehr ruhig. Top sauber, sehr komfortable Betten, reichliches Frühstück. Der Manager Peter war sehr hilfsbereit und hat perfekt die Abholung per Taxi vom Airport organisiert. Überhaupt waren alle sehr bemüht, jegliches aufkommende „Problem“ sofort zu lösen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder herkommen.

Cons:

Nichts - alles hat gepasst.

Hidden gem in Old Hanoi
Pros:

This hotel is a hidden gem in a little side street in Old Hanoi, but close to transport, food and shops. We easily walked to dinner, it is located just blocks away from a major food street. The hotel is quiet and our room was lovely and quite big.The whole decor is "French chateau" style and very charming. Breakfast was excellent, we had a cooked breakfast and had trouble eating it because it was so big. Peter and the staff couldn't do enough to assist you and were happy to organise anything you need. I wish we had stayed there longer.
