Pros:

L’établissement est bien placé dans le vieux Hanoï, certe c’est bruyant mais cela reste partout dans ce quartier. Il y a énormément de vie ! 😊. Le responsable est très gentil et aux petits soins ! Le petit déjeuné est très bien également avec plusieurs propositions pour les goûts de tout le monde !

Cons:

L’établissement est vieillissant, nous avons eu une chambre avec une Clim qui fonctionne très mal. Nous avons eu chaud dans la nuit, heureusement on avait un ventilateur en plus. Sinon encore plus compliqué. La literie fut bonne et les lits sont très grands. La salle de bain serait bonne à refaire, la pomme de douche a une bonne pression mais autour de la baignoire il manque des joints, on se demande où l’eau va .. le lavabo si vous tirez l’eau, tout coule à vos pieds. Cela manque d’entretien global … une bonne remise au propre ferait pas de mal ! C’est un peu cher la nuit pour tous ces manquements !

Our family of four (including two kids) had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hanoi Hotel Royal in the Old Quarter. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome, and the central location made exploring the vibrant streets of Hanoi effortless.

The Stay & Super Breakfast
The family accommodations were exceptionally comfortable, clean, and well-designed for a family with children. After a long day of sightseeing, it was the perfect peaceful retreat. A massive highlight of our stay was the "Super Breakfast" every morning. The spread was fantastic, offering a delicious variety of both local Vietnamese delicacies and Western options. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and gave us the perfect energy boost to start our daily adventures.

What truly makes this hotel stand out, however, is the manager, Peter. He is an absolute superstar and redefined what hospitality means!

Flawless Day Trips: Peter took all the stress out of our vacation by personally arranging incredible day trips for our family. Every recommendation he made was perfect, and the logistics were seamless.

Airport Transfers: He organized our airport drop-off at an excellent, highly competitive rate, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free journey for us and the kids.

Above & Beyond Service: To top it all off, Peter was incredibly kind and helpful enough to assist us with cash whenever we needed it. This level of personalized care and trust is rare to find and was a massive help to us during our stay.

If you are traveling to Hanoi—especially with family—do not hesitate to book here. The hotel is wonderful, but Peter and his team make it an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back!

Пребывание в этом отеле оставило максимум хороших впечатлений. Сотрудник Peter очень доброжелательный и приятный мужчина. Он был заинтересован в моем комфорте.
Номера чистые и ухоженные. Номер был просторный. Было очень тихо, без шума.
Отель расположен очень удачно. Он находится в самом центре. Рядом много кафе и развлечений.
Завтрак был отличным и вкусным.
Я обязательно остановлюсь здесь снова.

I suffered my first day in Hanoi
Pros:

Only Peter the receptionist and his assistant chief I forgot the name

It not exactly like the picture on booking 🙁, the entrance of the hotel is disappointing and depressive it is in a narrow corridor and small and humid 🙁,

Room was very hot on check in time and all windows open!! Even though Peter asked med to turn off the AC when Iam out of the hotel or he will take 10$ from me !!

Unfortunately, most of the hotel in old quarter same wise , I really recommend everyone to look for clean 4-5 starts Hotel and pay a little bit more or find clean apartment in luxury buildings it is very good with approximately same price don’t suffer in your vacation
