Nice place to stay
Pros:

Room was quiet, coffee was hot and good

Cons:

Linen in the beds is polyester, you sweat at night by just having the sheet on

Facility needs some major updates and has electrical issues.
Pros:

The front desk agent was very friendly and helpful as was the attendant at breakfast.

Cons:

The room was not worth the amount that we paid for it. In the room, there was a breaker box located in the kitchenette area. Each time we would turn the air conditioner on the breaker flip and the breaker box and the lights would turn off. When we return, the lights on another breaker would flip in the air conditioner would turn off. This led to me having to flip a breaker each time we needed to use either the lights or the air conditioner, as if I was an electrician for Home2Suites. Even when the lights were working, they flickered in the bathroom. There was also a lot of trash piled up in the hallway next to the elevators. I understand the price was more because there were many tournament venues going on in town so I had no choice but to pay more than I normally would for this type of room.

At least the sheets looked clean
Pros:

Sheets were clean ( only thing really clean)

Cons:

The carpets were dirty, the hallway walls were yelling and very beat up, inside the room I found hairs all over, the door was rusty, the room had a bad smell, the bathroom was horrible dusty air vent, hairs in the sink, walls near the tub looked like mold and was very messed up, the sink was nasty, the shower wasn’t clean.

Ants everywhere in multiple rooms
Pros:

Ants everywhere. Literally everywhere. There is no way you don’t notice them. Multiple rooms have ants everywhere including beds, getting in all my stuff and biting me in my sleep. Do not come here if you don’t want to be eaten by ants.

Pros:

Meatiest hotel I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. There were dirty dishes in the sink, trash in the trash cans, crumbs all over the counters, and pubes on the sheets and in the shower! There was hair all over the floor, and even a used bar of soap. I called the front desk to request a different room and was told no! Please never stay here! The hallways smelt like burnt hair and I was told it was because of the carpets being cleaned, so I expected to walk up to clean carpets right? WRONG! There was trash all over the floor!!!!

Pros:

Nice big room with lots of amenities, good location, nice staff

Cons:

1. The company had sent an email, rejecting my request to change my reservation from two nights to one. However, when we arrived, our Friday night had been canceled.
2. Lack of make-up lighting in the room
3. You should try to eat what you serve for breakfast, especially the "sausage" - it's a salt-bomb mystery meat.
4. The pricing increases whenever their is an event of any kind at TAMU
5. Uncomfortably soft mattress
