Am a Diamond member and have spent 100 nights at Home2suites in the past year. This was by far the worst. Carpet in my room soaking wet. Had to put towels down to walk from bed to closet. At 8am each morning a tractor pulled a large metal dumpster accross the parking lot...like being on the tarmac at DFW. Workout room unavailable as they were installing new machines. Regrettable stay, wont make that mistake again!!
The location was great. Convenient in regards to Texas A&M which was the purpose of our visit.
We had a maintenance crew come into our room two hours before checkout to disassemble the air conditioning unit and remove it for cleaning. We were in the middle of getting ready, changing clothes, packing our bags, etc…and so the timing of this maintenance was terrible. Then the room quickly got hot because we no longer had an air conditioner so we just packed up and got out of there as soon as we could because we were so uncomfortable.
Breakfast, parking, location were all great. The staff was good. My room had a smell when I checked in, but the staff member quickly resolved it.
Even with the A/C on high, the room was humid, and a dehumidifier was not provided (it was requested).
