Roman Spa Hot Springs Resort

Overall, we had an amazing stay at the resort very good amenities unfortunately our room that we booked at over $700 a night did not have a fully working toilet or hot tub so this definitely was a let down during our stay unfortunately.

Great experience, thinking about taking kids next winter season since the pool is warmed by hotspring. We stayed in the jacuzzi tub room and it was perfect for couples.

I was told that the 20% gratuity + $10 resort fee was communicated earlier, but I was not allowed to adjust it. When I requested to pay a different amount, I was told that the front desk person had to call the Spa for approval. Then she came back and told me that she would have to get permission from the manager, but he wasn't there, and she thought it might be 10 minutes or so. She kept repeating that the amount was disclosed prior to my stay, which was true. If the amount is not adjustable or discretionary, it must be disclosed as part of the fee for that spa treatment, which was not the case. We were in a rush and had to get going, so I could not wait for the manager if and when he might come. Shame on you for trying every trick in the book, hoping that you would give up. Congratulations, I gave up just like your staff was hoping I would do.

This is our go to place in Calistoga, the pools are always at a consistent temp year round, and the place is quiet and comfortable. We've stayed in the regular rooms all the way up to the jacuzzi king suite. They are all very comfortable. The kitchen suites are very nice to cook your own meals, even if the appliances are a bit dated, they do the job. We also love how restaurants, bars, and downtown is just a short walking distance, no need to drive. We will be returning soon. Great value for the money.

Love our girls weekends in Calistoga! Roman Spa has been our choice of place to stay. It's a beautiful, clean and cozy place to be. We look forward to our annual visits. The staff is cheerful and always there to help us with anything that we should need.

Roman Spa Hot Springs Resort is a magical getaway that restores, refreshes, and delights. Its three tranquil, gorgeous pools and impeccably-kept gardens offer the kind of beauty and quietude that are a rare treat among wine country resorts. Excellent spa, friendly and welcoming staff. Bonus: rooms with kitchenettes, a huge perk if you want to keep a low-key, cocooning vibe during your hot-springs retreat.

Ive stayed here many times. Beautiful ground and pools. Rooms clean but dated. Location is perfect for foot travel to anywhere in town. Robe which was always in past included with room is now a rental item?! Unusual.

Took my 3 daughters for 'girls trip.'
Grounds are beautifully maintained, pools are divine.
Rooms are very tired - do not expect much.
Very disappointed in the spa services but spa manager is rectifying for credit to try another time (consider getting your massages elsewhere)

Gardens maintained very well and pool area was immaculate. yes room was just a bit dated

The Roman Spa is always such a fantastic vacation if you are not relaxed by the end of your visit you probably tried too hard to not relax. We enjoy every day of our visits and cannot wait until the next visit!

The location is off the main drag so it is nice and quiet. Many people are return visitors and we enjoyed engaging in conversation with others. The waters are delightful and the staff is friendly.

Owners always present on ground and very easy contact with.
Front deck representative Kimberly is absolutely amazing professional, always with smile , she with smile and happiness ready to serve you and satisfies any your request.
Maintenance c and gardeners staff are incredible: Erick, Patrick, Stew, Sheine. Look at the flowers, trees, equipment's and you will be very impressive

There was a fire and we had to leave due to poor air quality. We had stayed for one night, but couldn't the second. I asked for a credit to stay a night in the future, and was told NO.

Boutiquie quiet hotel with beautiful flowers and great charm. Perfect for a couples retreat or a quiet girls getaway. Perfect central location.

Excellent hotel with excellent location located at the heart of Calistoga,extremely clean & comfortable ! We were allowed to check in early, so this was a big plus. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable.
