Good for short stay but in the pricey side.
Pros:

Unit has all you need for long stay. Kitchenette, living area wonderful.
Bathroom functional although I'm eyeing signs of wear and tear.

Cons:

Parking fee. Preferable FREE parking.

Friendly staff in a nice part of town.
Pros:

The staff at the Hyatt House Shadyside was welcoming and helpful.
They were able to suggest local bars and restaurants that were nearby. The breakfast was a typical Hyatt Breakfast.The rooms were very clean. I would definitely stay there again. WE enjoyed the bartender.

Remote was "stuck," difficult to use, staff stopped helping me to check in to address other customers' non-urgent needs (they wanted to confirm a nights stay had been cancelled), high chairs in dining area were very sticky and dirty.

Better than Expected~Kudos to You all
Pros:

I read some bad reviews so I was not looking forward to much, but this was a very nice hotel and I was happy to stay here. It was right near Shadyside hospital where I was working and they chose this for me. The staff were all friendly, the room was spacious and had a lot of nice amenities what you may need for an extended stay. The breakfast was good including a lot of healthy options. I would stay here again and encourage others in need of a Shadyside location to give it a try.

Pros:

Comfortable clean room with full kitchen. Friendly, helpful staff! Meal one night at the bar was good. Well lit parking lot. Will be staying here on my next trip to Pittsburgh.

Customer is the bomb!
Pros:

From the moment we entered the hyatt bloomfield at 4pm until we left to go to shadyside hospital at 3:30 am our experience was excellent. I came back later after my wife's surgery to check-out and the staff was different employees but they had the same customer care attention as the employees I encountered the previous day.

Terrible stay- stay away
Pros:

Booked 2 weeks prior and was not given the room we reserved. No apology, no help- just rudeness and disappointment. Stay away if you need a bigger room as apparently a conformation is meaningless and don’t expect anything to be done about it. Shockingly disappointing.
