Clean, well stocked kitchen, easy to use remote, right in Old Town. Great communication from our host. Windows cancel out sound of restaurants. Really charming!
The property is in excellent location & it was very easy to self check in. Highly recommend if you would like to stay in the heart of the city.
Convenient location but not comfortable, hear upper floor heavy footstep. Floor glueing grey stuff on your slippers, weird, need to wipe every half a day, but floor seems clean. No shelf or just anywhere to put out daily necessities. Best point is giving enough tissue rolls for our four day stay. Only thin quilt provided, bit cold for whole night sleeping. Good for noon snap. Two words to conclude~ overrated and overpriced even at this expensive Dubrovnik.
The room was nice and spacious and pretty clean. The location is great if you plan on walking to many places. It was a bit noisy from being able to hear other people staying next door but we sort of expected that. Overall it was a nice stay
It was a nice large room in the heart of the old city. The check in was flawless. Only issues were the wifi was spotty, and oddly, the property owner tried to gain access to the room with no prior notice or advance warning. It was a bit creepy.
Easy check in. Comfy bed. Clean space. Kitchen area if needed. Superb location.
Water flow of the washroom sink and shower stall needs to be checked.
Would certainly recommend this space.
This apartment had everything we needed to be comfortable and the location is fantastic. Ivana thought of everything & was so helpful. I would stay there again.
Communication wasn’t great
It’s advertised as a hotel and it was an unmanned apartment building
I had some texts about transport support but no details were provided and I expected a person to great us on Arrival. I got. I got a text the day before that i missed and on the day i replied back. It took 7 hours for the host to reply because she was working in a nursing home.
We arrived at the property and we were standing at the door 20 minutes
When we finally got a reply with a code for the front door. Then waiting again 10 more minutes to get the room number. We were in the room and then we got the internet code …
Short messages with instructions spaces out
We got the host’s mobile eventually
And from them onwards every thing was ok
We don’t understand why all that information wasn’t provided a few days in advance i
f nobody was going to be there
The apartment was medium size, very clean and new. It had everything to cook, blankets, sheets and towels were replaced the second day.
There was cuyos, glasses, pots, frying pan, cutlery, umbrella, iron and ironing board. Airconditioning was great but we couldn’t Connect to Netflix at all
Location is brilliant just tough to get to it due to the amount of steps to the property. We were in the heart of the town but the room was quiet and can sleep well
Great location in old town. Nice clean apartment convenient to everything but beware it is up a LOT of steps. Communication issues with host caused inconvenience, and the booking did not make it clear she would accept cash only,
Great property & location. The owner was very helpful. She gave us great restaurants recommendations.
Excellent location for drop off from airport or accessing the cable car up to the top of the mountain. Can't avoid steps in Dubrovnik but close to the top and gate entrance so lugging bags a little easier. Once into town close to attractions, restaurants and wall entrance. Laundry is very close and apartment is cozy. Check in was a breeze. Owner very responsive
The location in the middle of old city is everything. So conveniently located. You can’t beat this. Super easy to get to everything. The place is cute, modern, cozy, comfortable and you feel safe. The amenities are great and they work very well. The host is very responsive and available as needed. You will need to carry your bags up and down the stairs, but that’s for all apartments in old city.
It was great. Everything aspect of the stay was above expectations
Nice place well situated close to everything situated in old town but you need in shape because a lots of stairs
It was close to Buza gate do we didn’t have far to carry our luggage. Old town is lovely. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Very comfortable apartment in a great location. Not too many steps to the unit. Bright and comfortable. Close to the Buza gate
This a right place to stay if you want to know the old town. No suitable for persons with knee injuries this because many steps to walk. The place is neat, kitchenet is a plus.
The owner was very responsive to issues we had. The remote didn’t work to the A/C heat system. We had no air for the first night. But she delivered a new one within hours of us letting her know. The satellite tv didn’t work at all. 4 nights no TV. They called the company but it couldn’t be fixed before we left. We had a hard time staying connected to the WiFi. It would last maybe 4 minutes before dropping.
I wish someone told us that we had to walk to the apartment and to use only the Busa Gate on arrival as it is MUCH more convenient. Carrying luggage down 4 flights of stairs is better than up 5 flights of stairs if you enter either of the other two gates. Enter Busa Gate, turn left, take the first right. Go down a few flights of stairs.
We had no hot water on our last day. It could be that we shut off a light switch but there is no way of knowing because there are no instructions in the room on how to operate the various switches. But no one likes a freezing cold shower.
The most shocking part was that we HAD to pay with CASH. we didn’t have enough cash and had to go to an ATM. Then we had to call our bank to open up the card since it wasn’t working in Croatia. It was nice there was a small kitchenette and we enjoyed that. The location was great to walk everywhere and to catch an Uber. The owner communicated through WhatsApp. It is a small business so we are happy to support them. With a little more instruction and upfront information we would have enjoyed it much more.
The apartment is in perfect walking distance to the main square surrounded by lovely restaurants and bars. What an amazing trip.
We had two rooms and one room the AC did not work. The management sent three people to fix it during our stay, but no one could figure it out. We were grateful it wasn't the middle of summer, it was just a bit toasty.
The location is fabulous and the owners respond quickly. The front door is a bit hard to open. We also had a very loud drunk person throwing bottles at our windows at 2am the first night, so bring ear plugs.
Be prepared for stairs to go in and out - the rooms are on different floors and it is a few flights of steep stairs to get to the hotel, which is a little difficult if you have big luggage.
The rooms themselves were nice and furnished with all you need - and the location to restaurants was fabulous. This hotel is inside the walls.
