La localisation
The Hotel del Peregrinos makes a wonderful place to stay in Merida. It is well-kept and carefully tended. Super clean, great location to walk to Paseo Montejo and to Cathedral as well as many other sites of interest.
Fernando and Roberto are the real gems here—attentive, knowledgeable about Merida and most helpful. It is located on a quiet street. There is a well equipped kitchen for making breakfast or lunches. Even a two burner electric “stove” for a little more involved meal.
Very nice hotel, comfortabel rooms and the staff is very nice and helpful! It has all the facilities we needed.
This beautiful colonial house is a perfect getaway to relax and feel comfortable in. The beautiful music, ceramic floors in warm tones, and soft illumination contribute to a soothing and uplifting atmosphere.
Fernando and Roberto are a wealth of information and share it willingly and warmly with their guests. Their English is amazing! They contribute greatly to a welcoming environment.
It is within walkable distance to many museums and cultural events in the city.
Ontzettend aardige, meedenkende staff! Zeer behulpzaam.
Dikke prima allemaal!
Kleinschalighotelletje in koloniaal gebouw.
Niets!
Immaculately clean, it has convenient kitchen facilities so we could make tea and coffee and cook if we wanted to. Delightful outdoor areas. Very happy we found this hotel. Super lovely and helpful staff. Excellent location and easy to park on the street (which was my main worry).
Nothing
Very good location, very clean. Close to everything but not a busy crowded street which is a perfect combination.
Superschönes Hotel mit sehr netten Betreibern. Ruhig, zentral gelegen, eine volle Empfehlung

Central location of the hotel and courtesy of the staff
The room was very small and the windows could not be opened.
Staff gentilissimo, camera e bagno grandi e puliti.
Great boutique hotel with walkable location to most of the cities attractions! Hotel front desk crew were amazing as well as the housekeeping staff.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and there is a kitchen where you can store and prepare food. Location is good, within walking distance of most things.
My room was on the ground floor overlooking the kitchen - so essentially windowless and you can hear everything. There may be better rooms on the first floor
This is a charming small hotel. The staff are very courteous and friendly. I think most or all spoke English well. It's only two blocks from busy Calle 60 but that felt like it was far away,.. people here were mostly quiet, especially during quiet hours between 9pm-9am. The guest kitchen is nicely equipped (though at least a couple of guests didn't bother to wash their own dishes, opened my carton of milk and maybe even drank (?!) from it... I threw it out).
I loved my light and airy room upstairs! But I wonder about people I met who were getting a ground-floor room next to the street. The stairs up aren't wide and (as typical) have no handrails. The worst problem was that my door was almost impossible to close when the sun shone on it; I'm guessing the heat expanded it? Luckily, I felt very safe here; if my door had sprung open, I don't think there'd be a problem. (I heard at least one other guest slam their door. So I didn't bother reporting the problem; I'm sure it's known.)
Very good location, very kind and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms with great water pressure.
Wonderful small hotel close to the center. Clean facilities. Pleasant and friendly staff. We especially loved talking with Roberto who was always kind, friendly and helpful.
