Just fine

The most important thing to me about a hotel is the bed. My bed was extremely uncomfortable - springs poking at me. The thermostat is not controllable from the room. It’s controlled by reception. It was very warm, and by the time it was resolved, it was check out time. There’s more that was wrong, but I’ll stop here. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and the pool was nice.

The staff were fabulous! The hotel had everything you needed on hand. The hotel was well run and a great location.

The staff are all very kind and friendly. The food portions are huge! The drinks all come in glass bottles which is great for the environment.
However the cons the air-con wouldn’t go below 21 degrees it was 36 degrees one day and the room just wasn’t cool enough. They didn’t have any fans either.
The pool, wow the fight for the sunbeds! People are out there putting towels on the beds 6am them wouldn’t sit on them until midday or would go to the beach!!
The hotel is in a great location 15 minute walk from bus station one way and 20 minutes into old town.
All in we enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn’t book again as we booked for easy access to the pool in the heat. Something needs to be done about the sun bed hogging!

We liked the hotel but two issues need to be fixed.
1. The hot water was not stable .when you take a shower sometimes you get hot water sometime cold water. Also water is circulating continuously in the toilet
2. Air condition is a disaster . It need to be fixed

Good beach location. Nearby Fontana restaurant provides quality dining options albeit a bit on the pricey side. Old Town about 17 min walk. WiFi was spotty in our room first three days, I had to use a hotel office in lobby for work meeting to ensure a good connection: But staff very helpful and kind from check in staff to cleaning staff.

Probably our favorite stay during our time in Croatia! A stone's throw away from the beach, and perfect walking distance not only too some great restaurants, but also old town/city center is only 10 minutes maximum! Amazing swimming and beach area in the backyard, along with a couple beach-side bars. We loved it so much, we wound up getting engaged at the imperial fountain just down the beach! Can't recommend this place enough, amazing rooms with spacious bathrooms, great poolbar area and incredible food. Love you Kolovare, see you again soon! <3

The Hotel Kolovare is not a 4 star hotel, its 2 1/2 stars at best. The room cost was way overpriced to way we received. While the hotel is quiet and the staff are great, it does not outweigh that the room we had was quite small, the lighting was poor and the beds were old and need of replacing.

Major hotel in town. Walkable distance to old town, close to long distance bus station.
Spacious room.

The property is located very close to the sea and is 10 minute walk from old town. It's condition is average, with a strange mid level design that you have to carry luggages for a few steps. My room ran out of water to flush toilet. I requested a room change and was switched to a much smaller one. The in room air condition did not seem to work, and neither was the bathroom exhaustion fan.

A good and clean hotel. Rooms were modern and comfortable. The reception staff that greeted me were polite and professional.

The carpet was extremely dirty, The TV did not work properly, The balcony was in closed, make it impossible to see anything. Otherwise, the property was fine

Nice accommodations.

The room felt dirty and tired - also the the weird metal coverings on the balcony above the railing made it so you couldn’t see the ocean - which was why we booked that room.
