ran out of coffee
This hotel has thought of everything we would want! Beautiful grounds, especially the feisty bison sculpture & flower gardens!
Be aware there are stairs!
What a lovely place, charming and cozy! The champagne and lavender towel upon check-in is a nice little touch. Loved sitting on the front porch as well!
So unfortunate that this hotel allows such obnoxiously loud music/karaoke in the bar downstairs. It was not a pleasant evening of sleep. Even with earplugs we were unable to sleep until after 1am. Not something that is acceptable for a hotel room you book to sleep in. Especially for the cost of stay.
The hotel, in general. All of it.
They were having a heat wave when I was there and the room had a 5,000 btu A/C unit, so it was a little warm. But I was ok with it.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sacajawea Hotel. The staff was warm and welcoming. The hotel has wonderful craftsman architecture. The bar and restaurant was great and made are evening plans very relaxed.
So quaint and historical. The champagne was a great touch to relax on the porch.
Main dining room was not open the night we stayed, but had a very good meal in the pub downstairs.
Loved the one-level cottage! Stairs would not work for us. Only one night. Ate at bar. Enjoyed our salads and drinks. Reception upon check in was wonderful! Thanks for the champagne!
The pillows were much too hard and big for us to use comfortably. Should have optional thinner pillows.
The keurig coffee maker in the room did not work at all, even though we moved it around to different rooms and plugs. Wasn't a breaker problem.
Liked our room with sink and counter separate from toilet and shower. Very comfortable beds. Also liked the offer to carry our luggage up stairs to our room. Very accommodating.
Friendly atmosphere with great food and the cottages were clean, new and made the stay really fun sitting out on the porches in the rocking chairs and watching the kids play in the area the cottages surrounded.
Place was beautifu! Bed was super comfy. Staff was friendly and offered a beverage and a hot lavender towel at check in. There was even a mini pillow mist spray for me in my room.:) i will return whenever possible!
The whole experience was very nice. The building is beautiful and historic. Really nice staff and the food and drinks were amazing. Love this hotel
Nothing
The old charm and cleanliness. The restaurant on the lower level was great. Good atmosphere and food
The receptionist can make or break your stay. We were told very abruptly that we were too early to check in. I said I just wanted to get my bearings. (3:20 pm) She was snappy and rude. Made us feel like we made a bad choice by staying there. Not welcoming at all. The person checking us out was so nice.
Beautiful historical hotel
No elevators. So carrying luggage to the third floor is time consuming and a work out
Stephanie was exceptional. She helped us with everything from checking in to helping us order dinner. The best hotel receptionist I have ever encountered.
Staff was amazing. Porch is a highlight of the hotel and very nicely done. Staff is warm and friendly and makes your stay.
The room had a musty smell like the bed was made up weeks ago and the room was closed up. I couldn’t figure out if it was driven by the window air conditioner. I ended up shutting it off so the smell didn’t swirl around. The rest of the place was nice but the room smell and dirty carpet were a downer considering other parts were nice.
Location was perfect for us
Food was great in the bar and the dining room
Staff was exceptional , especially Stephanie at front desk. She was wonderful!
No refrigerator in room. Rooms very small for 2 people.
Loved everything, staff so friendly on arrival! There was a rodeo on the whole town was buzzing, great band playing outside.
That we didn’t stay longer
Nicely maintained, beautiful, historic hotel with welcoming staff and thoughtfully displayed articles to showcase its history. Located by a Sacajawea statue tribute and historic railroad depot. Has delicious, moist baked goods for continental breakfast. Offers a couple of internal restaurant options including the Pompey's Grill, which has spectacular food!
