Cadre grandiose, offre de services à revoir
Pros:

Pros:

From start to finish our experience was a DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

On arrival we were allocated the rooms. However, we paid for an upgrade and staff did not know what that meant and specified all rooms were the same. We reverted back to our Expedia voucher to show what we had booked to be then informed the rooms were not available. We had to show the images on the website to show what we had booked. after some time we were then provided with the upgraded rooms we had paid for. Only one room was ready so 4 of us had to share until our room was ready. Furthermore, we were shown occupied rooms without the occupies consent which concerned us.

The day reception staff were unhelpful. Due to language barriers they were not accommodating or flexible to our queries as we did not speak French or Arabic. For example, the waiter for dinner was extremely rude. He did not acknowledge us for 30 minutes to take drink order or provide us with a menu. When we merely asked him a question about ordering food for dinner he replied ' I don't speak English' then walked off and left us at the table and served other guests. We had to call him several times to make an order and he would either ignore us or tell us to wait, by this time other guests had received their 3 course meals. The menu was poorly written and didn't not explicitly state there was meat/fish in the meals and when we state this to the waiter he did not care and was unwilling to change when we wanted .

Pros:

It was quite and peaceful and not very busy. But the service we received was poor. There was construction works going on when we arrived at the hotel everyday and I could not rest or sleep peacefully because the works would start at 10am everyday. Also the contraction works made a hole in our room big enough for a head to pop in and we could see bulders who kept having a peek into our room. Upon request to change the room we are given a room without a propa functioning shower.

Aweful ! Don't trust the pics and reviews !
Pros:

Absolutely terrible ! Were all previous reviewers blind ?? Ok the Riad looks good from outside but that's about it. Everything else is absolute disapointment from service to room cleaniness and comfort. We skipped the breakfast and canceled our next night.

Pros:

No TV connection! Toilet flash was not work first one day and they refused to change my room!! I had big argument, later on they changed with smaller room.
Most of the staff are very helpful. Hotel are very traditional building , outside pool was very dirty!! Spa was out of order!!
First two nights there was no light outside the building! !
Overall hotel view are very nice like a castle!! But more maintaining will require.

peaceful oasis
Pros:

wonderful week before Christmas. Staff couldn't be more helpful, the hotel is unique and the weather perfect. Bring lots to read and just soak up the sunshine in this oasis of peace.
Always negotiate the taxi fare before you get in (no meters), airport to the hotel around 200 mads. The hotel has a deal with a local company so fare to the Square and airport (90 minutes minimum hotel to departure lounge) is 100 mads. 140 mads to the £ at the airport, first bank we went to off the Square we got 144.
For a light lunch in the Square try Snack Toubkal in the corner 30 mads for steak chips and a salad.
If you fancy exploring turn right on the main road there are lots of cafes and quirky shops including a fossil shop and a patisserie.

Great value for the money !
Pros:

Just spent 3 nights at the Palais Clementina and loved every minute. Madjid and his staff were very helpful and attentive. Hotel suite was amazing with views over the beautiful gardens and pool. Just 15 minutes from airport.

Not what we expected
Pros:

The hotel is very basic and needs a lot of renovating and, more importantly, cleaning. The hotel staff are very friendly but not the best, although this is partly down to not having the means to offer anything better. The food is really quite terrible. Same breakfast everyday and although it was easy food to make (omelettes, pancakes etc) it was never hot or even warm! The dinner was shicking, salad that had been clearly standing out of the fridge for a few hours so was limp and lifeless, the direst chicken I've ever had the displeasure of putting in my mouth and simply rubbish desserts.
The pool and gardens are lovely but this is literally the only plus side to this hotel.
We did however, find the funny side of things as they were so inconsistent with everything, it made each day entertaining to find out what was going to happen to us next.

Wonderful experience
Pros:

This really was a great place to relax in tranquil authentic surroundings. Peaceful and luxurious and wonderful staff. If you are looking for somewhere to escape the pressures and bustle of Marrakech with staff you can trust then this is ideal. The traditional food was so much better than the eateries in town. Our executive suite was truly palatial, opening right into the garden and the pool.
