Enjoyed our one night stay. Good food and drinks at the Speakeasy. Well maintained and in a great location for the Skyline Drive and Luray Caverns.

Quant and charming.
We were allowed an early check in without an uncharge, which was very nice.

The queen bed was not as comfortable for us but the property is great as well as the location.

Hotel was First Class & Staff was Making Our Stay Extremely Welcomed & Appreciated. Their Restaurant at Basement level called the Speakeasy was Remarkable & Delicious! Never One Problem @ this One Folks! Just Like Mikey, Try it You Will Like Ot & You Will!

Wifi in the room was weak and faded in and out. Pretty much useless. I also noticed it was slow in the lobby as well. Carpets everywhere need a good cleaning. Furniture in room was tired and worn but 5 stars for cleanliness. Staff was amazing - friendly and helpful. Dining area was perfect. Food was excellent.

Wonderful property, would stay there again

The surrounding areas speak for themselves. The quaint quiteness of the town. Is relaxing. It reminds me of a beetle juice/ The shining resort. The history is cool. The fact that it may be Haunted? Even better. The staff. The food. The speakeasy. Amazing. Would highly recommend. And will be back. 👽🤘

Inconsiderate people next door, asked for another room and was immediately taken care of with a new room

Beautiful area and amazing hotel for the historic aspect - rooms were small but they fit the era.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself has character and history, and we enjoyed a lovely meal at Circa '31.

Loved the grounds and the grand building.. I know it is an old building, but the management needs to take care of the rooms. Our towel bar in the bathroom was very loose and could fall off the wall. We did not use it and reported it to the front desk.

Charming and cozy. Good choice for a low-maintenance solo traveler. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was there was no water fountain or water source in the hotel other than purchased water bottle. Additionally, the only fridge is a communal one.

Clean room and awesome historical hotel

Very nice experience!

Great location and historical hotel. Had a nice, comfortable suite, but bathroom could clearly near upgrading (e.g., caulking around tub looks like it has mold, but it's just very old caulking that has turned black). Disappointed that hot tub was closed, as was the pool, but we still paid a resort fee (and we didn't use any other facilities). Very odd that restaurant had too options for paying, with extra fee for charge. I've seen this at small shops, but never at a hotel.

Vintage looks and charm! People there were very friendly and you could tell they took pride in how the whole place looked. Food was great as well!

The grounds are lovely and the room was clean and nice.

So far we have great time in our suites room and rest well.

Our room was really cute but the AC was not working. We went to the desk at 3am and we were moved to an adorable cottage. I really appreciate that our needs were met immediately and that we were able to get to sleep and enjoy the rest of our stay. I would definitely come back and I would definitely book a cottage instead of the main hotel. The hotel is great but the cottage was amazing.
