A gem of a hotel
Pros:

We are on the final night of a 7 day half board stay at this hotel, and it has been truly lovely. We came to continue hiking the Cami de Cavals and explore the lovely coast and Ciutadella. The food was excellent with great attention to detail, especially the a la carte breakfast and dinner elements. The eggs benedict for breakfast were sublime and the best hot chocolate ever. The tasting menu was lovely.. Both Pablo and Maria in the restaurant were warm and welcoming, as was the friendly chef who popped out occasionally. Room was great. The pool was fantastic, all in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable week. It's a peaceful and tranquil environment, and we really enjoyed the lack of intrusive music. Highly recommended, and we will be repeating!

Great staff, nice communal facilitates, outdated bed/bathroom. Not the 5* luxury I would expect.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and professional, the outside pool area is lovely, so to are the other communal areas of the hotel, including the complimentary Wellness Centre and indoor pool. You pay extra for Spa treatments, which you would expect, though they a little on the pricey side tbh! The indoor pool was far too hot for any actual swimming during our visit - luckily the sea was a very pleasant 24 degrees. The Hotel is located a short walk from the marina, restaurants and beach and feels nicely secluded when inside. All rooms face the pool and have a terrace or balcony and the breakfast was nice with everything you would really need available, but not exceptional. Pool towels and robes are provided and everything was spotlessly clean.

Cons:

Our room was not what i would expect from a 5* hotel; it was really quite dated with brown furniture that showed quite a lot of signs of wear. The TV was not smart - no internet connection for Netflix etc and had no English channels. Just one bottle of complimentary water supplied during our stay. No nice little extras that make all the difference like a coffee pod machine, a selection of teas or a few biscuits. The bathroom was equally dated, and whilst it might of felt luxury years ago, it didn't do so to me at all. The shower was over the bath, the hairdryer had electrical tape around it and whilst there was complimentary body lotion, shampoo and conditioner it didn't feel high end and i went and purchased alternatives.
There is also a complete lack of anywhere to dry your costume or pools towels, no rack/pull out on the terrace, so this meant everyone had them hung over their balconies - pretty unsightly.
