Prachtig sfeervol hotel op ideale locatie
Pros:

De prachtige historische sfeer van het hotel, de hoge plafonds, de klassieke inrichting, het heerlijke ontbijt in de sfeervolle onbijtzaal en de rust.

Cons:

Eigenlijk niets. Sommige mensen zullen de badkamer beetje ouderwets vinden, maar alles werkt. Voor mij was het juist een verademing.

Un vieil établissement, plein de charme
Pros:

L'ensemble était charmant : de grandes chambres bien équipées, unengrande salle de bains, une salle à manger accueillante. Très bien placé au centre de la vieille ville.

Cons:

La salle de bains se dégrade: joints des carrelages par exemple. L'isdolation des fenêtres n'est pas suffisante: beaucoup de bruit le matin.

Old charming atmosphere
Pros:

Owners adorable! Breakfast included with freshly prepared eggs upon request served in a charming dining room of this ancient house. Perfect position a few steps from the historical center. Old charming atmosphere. Huge room with fridge. Quite environment, despite poor isolation.

Cons:

Room pictures not corresponding to my room, number 3 with view on a lateral building façade and pretty dark. I didn’t spend much time in the room, so it was fine, but It should be mentioned that there is no open view.

This property is old world charm at its best. I was made to feel like royalty and so welcomed Thank you!

Cons:

The location is outstanding a large bed that was very very comfortable. It was early spring and the room was toasty with a great veiw onto the garden

Wohnen im Museum
Pros:

Altes Stadthaus direkt im Zentrum. Man wohnt wie in einem Museum. Großes Zimmer mit viel Platz.

Cons:

Kein Parkplatz. Parken vor dem Hotel ist nur für Anwohner erlaubt. 300 Meter zum nächsten Parkhaus.

Städtereise
Pros:

Das ist ein schönes kleines Hotel in einem historischen Gebäude, welches als Teil des Genter Lichtplans abends hübsch angestrahlt wird. Bis zur Altstadt ist es nicht weit, wir konnten alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erreichen. Es gibt ein kleines, aber feines Frühstück, das Personal ist ebenfalls sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Am besten hat uns die musikalische Ausstattung mit Orgel, Klavier und Flügel gefallen, sodass wir an einem Morgen gemeinsam mit dem Hotelmitarbeiter sogar noch ein kleines Konzert geben konnten, das war toll! Ein paar Meter weiter gibt es hoteleigene Parkplätze in einem kleinen Parkhaus, auch das war sehr wichtig für uns. Wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

Cons:

Da unser Sohn uns aus terminlichen Gründen nicht begleiten konnte, hatten wir im Vorfeld sein Einzelzimmer storniert.
Bei unserer Ankunft hatte man jedoch bedauerlicherweise versehentlich unser Doppelzimmer storniert, sodass wir für die erste Nacht quasi in der Dachkammer unterkommen mussten. Wir durften zwar am nächsten Tag in ein größeres Doppelzimmer umziehen, aber das Schleppen des Gepäcks die vielen Treppen hinauf und wieder herunter war schon anstrengend.

Vermakelijk verblijf op een erg goede locatie. Ik kon het zeker waarderen.
Pros:

De locatie en het oude karakter. Ontbijt goed. Gewoon leuk!

Cons:

Mag een opknapbeurt hebben. Met name de badkamer is niet fris meer. Ook hangt de douche stang te laag om te gebruiken bijvoorbeeld.

Heel vriendelijk personeel.
Locatie is prima: 5 min te voet en je zit in het centrum, bij de meeste toeristische attracties .

Het hotel iis goed voor een weekend te overnachten.
