Pros:

Hôtel très bien situé. Très bon accueil. Et même si l'hôtel est un peu vieillot nous avons passé un agréable séjour pour visiter Gand. Parking juste à côté de l'hôtel.

Cons:

Décoration pas à mon goût. Les fauteuils dans la chambre pas très confortable.

It was a good stay all in all. Won't hesitate to book again when I come visit next time.
Pros:

The location is perfect - it's only a couple of minutes walk to the main attractions, the staff are lovely and also, the breakfast was great.

Cons:

The bed was a bit creaky and the television streaming kept lagging.

Disappointing accommodation!
Pros:

While appreciating that we were staying in a l6th century building we were disappointed in arrival to be allocated a room which was very basic and in need of some updating!
The overall accommodation in the hotel feels very "authentic" however if you are expecting a hotel to have modern comforts this is not the one I would
recommend!
Our room (room 7) could benefit from a refresh ! We had a view of the fire escape from our only which had definitely seen better days! (see photo attached) and beyond that was a very neglected garden!
Such a shame as I can imagine this was once beautiful!
The electric sockets in room 7 could in my opinion do with some attention to ensure they are safe! The bedside cupboards which contained a very antiquated radio alarm and a water damaged bible and an old rubber bath mat need clearing out!
Happily all of this did not spoil our trip to beautiful Ghent however we sadly would
not return to this hotel!

Pros:

Heel vriendelijk contact met eigenaar. Rustige en zeer centrale ligging. Hotel met echt Gentse sfeer. Prima ontbijt.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt mit Charme
Pros:

Es gab einen überaus freundlichen Empfang, ebenso die Bedienung beim Frühstück war sehr nett, es gab eine frisch zubereitete Eierspeise nach Wahl und viel Auswahl. Das Haus mit seinen alten Möbeln hat viel Charme, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Lage ist optimal, das Zentrum von Gent ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Es gab eine nahe gelegene Parkmöglichkeit für 15,- € / Nacht.

Cons:

Im Badezimmer blätterte die Fliesenlackierung etwas ab, dunkle Stellen kamen zum Vorschein.

Très bien placé
Pros:

Hôtel tranquille, pas le grand luxe mais juste suffisant pour les activités que j'avais à faire. Un peu déçu des horaires du petit-déjeuner (8h - 10h), devant partir plus tôt, je n'ai pas pu en profiter. Néanmoins, il est très bien placé au niveau du Centre et c'est très appréciable.

Cons:

La qualité du matelas, qui a déjà bien vécu semble-t-il, mais reste correct.

Pros:

Es un hotel antiguo, el edificio en general, muy acorde a la ciudad, las instancias, la recepción, el salón del desayuno, el personal fue excepcional. La ubicación, el desayuno muy bueno.

Fijn hotel in een prachtig pand.
Pros:

Het hotel is perfect als je een idyllische en nostalgische plek zoekt waar de geschiedenis alom is. Een prachtig historisch gebouw op een goede plek ten opzichte van het centrum. De bedden waren heerlijk net als het ontbijt.

Cons:

Het sanitair was schoon maar verouderd.
