Highly recommended smaller hotel with excellent staff and amenities.
Pros:

Excellent staff and amenities. The onsite guide (Lester) spoke fluent English and was a terrific guide. Great location.

Cons:

We were assigned a room across the street from the hotel in a different building. A good room but inconvenient.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Staff is considerate, bilingual and helpful.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast and super staff. The filtered hot/cold water in room was unexpected bonus. Excellent shower in our very quiet room in Annex. The location was ideal just two short well lit blocks to main square and municipality market. I was unsure of what was where and very happy with the location. The restaurant is very good for our dinner. When we visit again we will stay at Hotel Don Jose.

Pros:

location, breakfast, staff

Cons:

we were put up in a dingy cramy suite, around the corner. Not in the nice main building., where our car was parked.
Shower dirty, AC was not possible yo turn down during the night. Bad for my cold.
When I complained I was told, that it was Booking's fault. That they couldn't move us.

A Perfect Stay with Exceptional Hospitality ✨
Pros:

Beautiful facilities, a perfect location, and truly outstanding staff. Our flight was very early in the morning, and even though we were rushing and not in the best mood, they treated us with such kindness. The gentleman who worked the night shift even sent us off with coffee and biscuits, such a thoughtful touch ☕🍪 and always had a smile.

I would come back any day!

Make sure you’re in the original hotel.
Pros:

We love this hotel, our 7th stay and it’s a great location with safe parking

Cons:

They have expanded to rooms across the street and it was nothing special. Our room was so stale and not pleasant to be in at all compared to their lovely Mexican decorated rooms we have had in the past.

Good value for a short stay
Pros:

I loved the location, the friendliness of the staff, the breakfast, and the courtesy drink upon arrival.

Cons:

The room doors are very thin and the whole hotel echoes. So I can hear every single time someone walks by, closed their door, or even someone far away talking. Also, the room got pretty hot at night. The bathroom had hair on the floor, but the pressure of the shower was good
