An excellent hotel for my first visit to Polokwane.
Team couldn't do too much for you and are obviously very proud of their hotel.
Rooms are fabulous african centric with wonderful furnishings and a bath that makes you want to soak for hours. Just needs a shelf or small unit to put books and glases on whilst in the bath.
Also, bath salts, a body puff or scrub and a candle would be lovely touches for the bathroom.
It may be the general them, but there are a lot of public spaces focused on European culture.
It was lovely to see a large portrait of Nelson Mandela.
Excellent wines on offer and generously competitive pricing.
Only had a couple of hiccups. I ordered a dessert at just before 7pm to come to the room at 7.45pm.
However, it still hadn't turned up when I went to bed at 10pm.
Just dozed off and had room service ringing the bell 5 times plus front desk constantly ringing.
This would be unacceptable in any circumstances, but the fact they were nearly 3 hours late and then asked me if I didn't want to eat it still. Not great.
I pre-ordered breakfast but when I arrived, it still took 10 mins to prepare plus instead of receiving English Breakfast tea as requested, I was presented with Roobios and lemon slices.
Attention to detail is key to a five star hotel!

The location, atmosphere, rooms and stuff are just simply the BEST.
Our stay at Fusion Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we booked, the level of service exceeded all expectations. Before we even arrived, Ezekiel personally called to ask how he could make our stay more comfortable. He proactively offered to arrange lunch and dinner reservations, which immediately made us feel valued and well cared for.
The rooms are spacious, beautifully appointed, and equipped with every amenity one could need. Attention to detail is evident throughout the hotel.
A special mention must go to Gloria from housekeeping. Her service was truly outstanding. She cleaned our room meticulously from corner to corner and even took the time to neatly fold our clothes. It was a level of care and attention that is rarely experienced and greatly appreciated.
The exceptional service continued right through to our departure. Upon check-out, we were escorted to our car and offered a tray with different temperatures of still and sparkling water for our journey. It was such a thoughtful touch and perfectly reflected the hotel’s commitment to guest comfort.
Every member of staff was attentive, professional, and always one step ahead. The service at Fusion Hotel was impeccable, and it is undoubtedly one of the finest hospitality experiences we have ever had. We cannot wait to return.

Great staff service. Except one manager or receptionist did not greet upon my arrival. A gentleman by the name of Patrick was outstanding but his colleague, not sure of his name, did not greet us.
