For the price, it was better that some others in the area. While a bit dated, the actual room was clean, AC was good, shower was hot. Did "upgrade" the room to have a microwave and refrigerator and they were useful as the location is not walking distance to dining. It was quite and never had issues with other clients.
I had a reservation for two nights, but checked out almost immediately in disgust. It was the most disgusting hotel room I had ever seen. The bathroom was so dirty there were big dark hairs on one wall, and an apparent spot of feces near the bottom of the same wall. The chair in the room was filthy, and the refrigerator didn't even work.
A charge for the entire two days, made through Hotels.com, has not been refunded by either the hotel or this site. Hotels.com does not seem to care (I left in disgust after the cancellation deadline), and the hotel manager did not respond to my message.
It was disgusting. There was poop still on the front of the toilet, the whole room was very stinky and dirty, the paint was peeling off the walls, the furniture was old and disgusting, etc.
The first room we got put into had the paint coming off the walls and it smelled like mold. The second room was better but mold in the bathroom and a heavy mildew smell. No coffee maker no iron no hair dryer and missing tiles in the bathroom ceiling.
place was very dirty and smelt awful. Inside was scratchy. Waited for 15 mins to get service and decided to leave.
It wasn't bad for low cost but I wont stay there again due to being noisey at night, bad lighting in the room, toilet ran all night when I stay somewhere I want to be comfortable.
The whole place look like a run down roach motel. The 1st room the tv didn't work. And they expected me to stay in that room. I had to threaten to get a refund and going to another hotel before they changed room.
I paid in advance online through PayPal. I was told when I arrived that I needed to pay. I said I already had paid and was accused that I hadn't. I showed a paper confirmation and the receipt on my phone and finally the desk worker seemed to agree. He fumbled around entering something then gave me my key. A few minutes later he came to my room and demanded my credit card. I asked if it was for incidentals and he said it was. I specifically asked if I was being charged again and was told no. A few days later my credit card statement showed I was double charged. I disputed the charge which I probably shouldn't have done because now I am without a card until a new one arrives and I will have to switch automatic withdrawals to the new card. I called the motel and they said they wished I had called them first. They said it was a new employee and I felt I was chastised for disputing the charge. On top of that the bathroom had extensive mildew and there were two insects crawling in the tub when I went to take a shower. No offer to totally reimburse me only that I call back when I get my new credit card so they can remove the charge. It was cheap but too much hassle at any price.
There was an error with my booking and Hotels.com couldn’t get a hold of the hotel to sort it out. I was on the phone with Hotels.com for at least an hour and when they would call the hotel to try to get the check in confirmation and info, the phone at the hotel front desk wasn’t even ringing. I don’t know if that’s the hotels fault or Hotels.com but Hotels.com refused to let me ask the front desk person for a number to reach out too. Hotels.com then had to book me at a different hotel all together. It was a hassle and inconvenient waste of my time. Hotels.com also did not offer me a refund or any kind of discount. Very disappointing service all around.
Kind of a janky place. Not worth the cheap rate.
It was was in very bad shape. Wall paper coming off, 2x4 holding up sink, holes in the carpet, curtain falling off rod, airconditioner held together with duct tape, no picutres but hangers on wall, stains on the walls, uncovered light bulb by door, fire sprinkler in bathroom wrapped in a bag.only room in the area or we wouldnt have stayed! Minus 5 stars shouldnt be listed as an option!
Holes in the blankets, asked for more towels we couldn't have any until the ones we had were dirty. The lady was rude. False advertisement about the pool. I got that one because it said indoor pool. Come to find out they no longer have it but yet it's on the sign and online. The hall stinks. when I said I was checking out she just said ok took the cards and didn't say thank you for staying or didn't say have a good day didn't smile. If I could have my 186 back I would definitely take it back the stay is not worth it. I will never stay there again.
I got the and the place was terrible! Cealing falling in mold in the bathtub just discussing. Was only there 15 min went to the office and told them the condition was terrible and i wanted a refund the lady actually rolled her eyes and Then proceed to argue with me about not give me A.Refund in the end , I did not get a refund and I didn't even stay there. Tried , stop charges at my bank and they still got their money. Very, very poor hotel and it's absolutely disgusting.Do not stay here and the staff is very unfriendly
Everything was dirty and falling apart.
This was the worst room I've ever stayed in. The shower nozzle and walls were covered in black mold! The room was unkept! I saw an Earwig in the bathroom! The curtains were broken! This place is straight out of a DUMP!
The sheets were gross and stained. The towels were stained and tore. The guy at the desk was nice. The hall smelled like smoke and mold. I will never stay there again.
Didn’t feel safe there. I didn’t stay.
The place was clean enough but really needed some maintenance and updating. Bathroom door didn’t latch, very old and warn carpet in the hallway. The bed was very comfortable
Staff was unintelligent. Overnight woman at 11pm kept me out of a room for an hour because she couldn't figure out how to bring my reservation up on the computer even though i could show her emails, confirmation numbers and had her talking to Expedia staff. When i complained in the morning, they just said it's fine now, she's just old and forgets stuff!! Room for was broken, bathroom door had holes gouged in, water was brown for the first 5 seconds every time. It was quiet at least. No one wanted to stay there.
First holes in the walls of the hallway, duct tape over signs, a hastily made handicap ramp up from lobby level up to the ground level rooms.
My room countertop in bathroom was cutoff at an angle and had a 1x4 screwed to the end to cap it on toilet side. Bed closet to window bed spread had multiple cigarette burn holes on the top and when pulling spread back the under side had even more holes. The top sheet had a big black smudge along the top seam area, saw more than I wanted so pulled bed spread back over to cover it up. So slept with 91 year old mother in 1 bed.
When getting ready for bed pulled the one chair out from desk and discovered a needle for a syringe (still in its sterile container, luckily) laying on the seat.
