Good overnighter in Huntsville.
Pros:

Friendly helpful staff. Good clean well appointed room. Easy walk to supermarket and restaurants.

Top tier service, cleanliness and value
Pros:

The owners care about their property and their guests. The property may be older but it is well loved and maintained. The room was clean, quite and the air conditioner was cold. If you are looking for a 5 star resort you may want to hit the $200 a night hotel up the road. But if you want a good night's sleep and clean room at a good price the VIP INN is top tier.

Cons:

Trying to navigate the streets in Huntsville alabama. Y'alls city is not easy to get around in.

Aside the unusual activity described above - it was a very pleasant
Pros:

I liked the location, cleanliness and price of the property - the seamless check-in process

Cons:

I was concerned about the appearance of the HPD arriving at the property and the commotion it created (foot traffic around my area of the property)

Later that evening I heard a girl being very emotional (crying) located about 3 rooms away - she was apparently upset about something as I saw her communicating with an individual who was sitting in a parked pickup truck w/engine running - eventually she went back inside and the individual with whom she was communicating eventually road away with someone in a different pickup truck / a little discerning!

I’ve stayed at this property on a few occasions and never experienced this type of situation before.

Would love to have been able to watch my favorite TV program ( HGTV) aside that, had a very enjoyable stay!

Do not recommend this place at all. Pay a little more and get a better place.
Pros:

Coffee and honey bun

Cons:

The rooms was nasty dirty. There was dirt and hair on the floors all the way thru the room. The bathtub had mold in it. We didn’t sleep any. If I hadn’t paid for the room I much rather had slept in my car.

I rarely get the full discount, despite staying there frequently. Depends on who is working the desk

Clean, quiet and safe.
Pros:

The young woman, Sarah, is a wonderful front desk person. Super helpful, friendly, and great at her job. Hee bosses should realize what a gem they have working for them.

Cons:

The bar across the parking lot can be boisterous

Pros:

Didn't see any breakfast. Just coffee. Staff was very helpful when needed. Easy access. Old hotel, but seemed to be maintained pretty well. As clean as most, towels were fresh. Bring your own hair dryer if you need one!

Cons:

TV sucked, but all hotel TV sucks! It was either Directv or Dish. I also didn't like the highway noise. It wasn't bad late, but started picking up in the morning.

A huge leap forward in the condition of appliances and the cleanliness of the room.

Cons:

The bed was not supportive at all. While in excellent shape, it was a much-too-soft mattress for me.

Cons:

So loud. You could hear everyone outside if they were standing by your head. The whole room smelled of smoke it was non smoking but I think neighboring room was smoking out and it smelled our room as well
