Pros:

The self check in was very convenient and the door codes to everything felt very safe

Cons:

Our air conditioning unit was leaking yellow goo down the wall and there was a light outside the window that was part of the building, not a street light, that stayed on the whole night and light up our room. It was harsh light all night and there were no blackout curtains, just blinds that were broken

Downtown convenience a plus. Not a great, peaceful, quiet place to stay.
Pros:

Quaint room. Access to coffee and water good.

Cons:

Acoustics were terrible. Noise from adjacent rooms (side and above) as well as to the exterior made it very difficult to sleep.

The worst experience I have ever had
Pros:

I liked that it was an old boutique hotel

Cons:

Did not feel safe sleeping there. There were homeless people 5 feet from where I was sleeping. The walls and windows were thin so it was beyond loud inside our room. The blinds were horrible allowing light in. There was no designated parking. Had to park blocks away from where we were staying

excellent vacation spot
Pros:

beautiful place in downtown san Diego, roof top view of the beautiful city, i liked how everything was essentially no contact since i am kinda introverted, the bathroom was my favorite part i can’t lie, it made me never want to leave.

Completely self-service
Pros:

Completely autonomous service, there is no one at the reception all the time, only certain days at certain hours. Easy access with the instructions received.

Cons:

The shower was leaking.

Pros:

Located near/at Gaslamp so plenty of options for food and night life, room was quite for it being close to many bars/clubs. check in/out process was was, rooftop was nice just couldn't figure out hot to ignite the small fire pit.

Cons:

AC was not working in our room, TV was glitching, there's no private parking available so we had to search for parking on a busy weekend, shower was nice but doe not have a sliding door

A really great room/hotel in a mediocre location. Great value--would stay again.
Pros:

I love the digital login process, the building design, the layout, the room, the huge comfortable bed, the wooden floors, the rooftop deck, and the self-service lobby. I enjoyed actually not interacting with anyone to have to check in or out. The building itself, and the room itself, was honestly excellent and a tremendous value.

Cons:

The location is walkable in San Diego, which is convenient, but the area immediately around the Davis is unfortunately full of homelessness. I am a large man so I feel fine walking here from other parts of downtown, but I wouldn't subject my wife or daughters to it. The room was very loud, the street was just outside the room and all night long I was hearing the cars, speeding motorcycles, homeless people talking or yelling, etc. They know this...they provide earplugs and a great sound machine which I definitely used to help me sleep.

Nice place
Pros:

This place is nice but it is loud. They do provide ear plugs and eye covers which really helped. Locator is convenient and easy to get to around town. I will definitely stay again. Nice rooftop area as well.

Pros:

Very easy to check-in, convenient location, nice rooftop, plenty of clean towels. Room was small but nice.

Cons:

The room was mostly clean, but the duvet cover was ripped and kept coming off of the duvet, and of course the duvet itself did not look very clean. There were some stains and hair on it so it would have been nice if the duvet cover stayed in place. Bed was super loud and squeaky and not very comfortable.

Ideal for a very quick stay
Pros:

Lovely hotel with good quality fixtures and fittings.
Very helpful friendly staff.

Cons:

Seems they compromised room size and comfort for quantity of rooms. I was very surprised at home small the room was. So small, the air conditioning unit is pressed against the bed, not allowing air circulation.
