It was amazing stay here due to excellent hospitality, great location. Management and staff are very cordial and always ready to help. Cafe at the property serve delicious and hygienic food.

Nice Hotel near to beach, Facility in room to be improve like Tea kettle, Shampoo in Bathroom, Door Mate at door entry to remove send.
Room service for tea in afternoon to be provided.
Cleanness to be improved in entrance and lobby.

Staff (and in particular Mr Sanish) very friendly and helpful. Budget hotel so do not expect frills.

Excellent Reception staff, lovely view from breakfast restaurant.

It’s a cool place to stay. Neat and clean rooms @ affordable rate. The hotel staff is very friendly. The only drawback was you don’t have the beach view from the hotel and the rooms are not sound proof. We could hear everything happening in the corridor. Still it’s a cool place. Don’t forgetting to try the food from the restaurant in front of the hotel. The food is delicious 👌

Very nice, small hotel right on the beach. Rooms are all ground floor, have windows but not a great view, saying that, if your just using the room to sleep in, then it has all you need. The room has a bed, shower room and a desk with a chair. There is no fridge, kettle or cooking facilities but the restaurant is less than 1 minutes walk through the front entrance which also takes you to the beach. Out of the back entrance, you will come across lots of little shops through some winding streets. The shop right opposite the back entrance is owned by a lovely gentleman who likes to have a bit of a chat, not at all like the beach sellers who seem to be relentless. I think his name was Naseem. All the staff at the hotel were really nice and friendly. I stayed in room 105 and it was clean and comfortable but could do with the walls being painted to freshen it up a bit. I enjoyed my stay very much, thanks you so much.

Great budget hotel with excellent location. Excellent breakfast included @ Malabar Cafe.

The place was fine. Very helpful and friendly staff. However compared to what you got it was pretty expensive (comparing to other places in India). You had to have the AC on otherwise mosquitos would come in. But it was an okay room.

This place was pretty clean and on the beach walk. But the rooms is in need of upgrading and the bed was not comfortable. Its very loudly and the placed us in a room next to the staff which ment slamming doors and noise from Tv from early morning until late night. The staff was friendly though.
Sorry to say but not a good value for your money.

It is situated just middle point of the light house beach. In front of the beach, they have their sister concern MALABAR Cafe. And just behind that there is Unwind resort. I don't think if they have any option to see the sea from any of the room, at least it was not there from my room#104 and that's actually not required. In night you need a pleasant sleep.
So, in morning, you woke up, have a walk through the beach road, then come and seat in Malabar Cafe... Have your breakfast, then enjoy sea... same for noon lunch & dinner in evening.

Only thing is the food pricing is very high in Kovalam - not only in Malabar, but also, in all hotels - so, please be ware of that.

Also, please carry enough cash with you as most of the hotels including Malabar Cafe does not support card payment. But Unwind does accept the same.

Over all, very good experience and I will again go there.

The hotel was good, stay was nice too. Peaceful ambience, helpful staff. But there was no intercom in the room so we had to go out and call the staff for everything we needed.
I expected a little better facilities for that price. But it was alright.

The manager and staff are extremely soft & always helpful to make your stay comfortable. Rooms and toilets are clean without compromise. Only problem was with dirty cover spoiled by the previous occupants and housekeeping staff could not notice or avoided to replace. The best Hawa beach is just 75 - 80 meter away, which is the best part.

Fantastisk sted at lande efter en lang tur til Indien. Meget turistet og dyrere end normalen, så vi blev ikke så længe.

We booked A/C rooms for 3 nights there. The accommodation is good. The rooms are well decorated. There is complementary breakfast with good quality of food. However, one disadvantage is that the hotel does not have any sea-facing room.

We arrived at 4am, and the staff was very willing to accomodate. Clean room right on the beach! Our needs are simple, and Unwind resort was fantastic for simple needs. Thanks!

ビーチのすぐ側だが少し奥まっているので静かに過ごすことができた。朝朝食は裏手のカフェで摂ったが大変充実した食事で感激した。ホットシャワー、テレビ、Wi-Fiあり。ただ、入口は只今工事中で、工事現場の中を通って部屋に至る。
