Zermatt is a car-free resort. You have to park your car in Täsch and proceed by train or taxi. During winter it is recommended to reserve a parking space in Täsch well in advance.

Alles in allem war es ok aber würde es nicht weiter empfehlen
Pros:

Super Lage; Frühstück war auch sehr lecker

Cons:

Leider ist in der Nebensaison nicht alles verfügbar, Aussenpool war zu, es fanden Bauarbeiten statt die einem das Ausschlafen nicht ermöglichten. Wellness war nur ein kleiner Pool und Sauna, Dampfsauna war out of Order.

Pros:

Unser Aufenthalt in Zermatt hat uns grundsätzlich gut gefallen. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchten wir das grosse Zimmer mit Schlafsofa. Gerade als Familie war dies sehr angenehm und bot genügend Platz sowie zusätzlichen Komfort.

Cons:

Etwas schade fanden wir den Ablauf beim Check-in. Obwohl uns die Check-in-Zeit ab 15:00 bestätigt wurde, wirkte der Portier zunächst eher wenig flexibel. Schlussendlich durften wir jedoch bereits vor 15:30 Uhr aufs Zimmer, was wir natürlich geschätzt haben.

Der Portier war grundsätzlich freundlich. Allerdings wirkte seine Mimik und Ausstrahlung eher zurückhaltend und nicht ganz so herzlich oder touristisch, wie man es sich in einem Ferienort wünschen würde.

Der Wellnessbereich ist zwar sehr schön gestaltet, jedoch war vom beworbenen Angebot mit zwei Pools nur einer geöffnet. Zudem befand sich das Dampfbad im Umbau und konnte während unseres Aufenthalts nicht genutzt werden.

Insgesamt hatten wir dennoch einen schönen Aufenthalt und konnten die Zeit in Zermatt geniessen.

Cons:

Wir kamen kurz nach 17:00 an und am letzten Tag mussten wir auf 08:00 auf den Zug. In beiden Fällen konnte das Hotel-Taxi uns nicht unterstützen. Sehr schade!
