Zermatt is a car-free resort. You have to park your car in Täsch and proceed by train or taxi. During winter it is recommended to reserve a parking space in Täsch well in advance.

Lovely experience!
Pros:

The room was in good condition and the staff members were all extremely kind! It was very close to the train station as well, which made things very easy when checking in or checking out. Although pricey, I sincerely enjoyed staying here!

Perfect, relaxed stay
Pros:

The spa facilities were very clean, comfortable and pleasant. The hotel has a very comfortable, practical atmosphere. It is very quiet in spite of being very centrally located. Access from the train station is easy (flat and very accessible street).

Cons:

The one thing that could be improved in my opinion is the comfort of the pillows. The bed itself was quite comfortable (firm and comfortable, perfect for a night's rest), but I think the pillows were a bit too soft and bulky.

De tudo, o hotel é perfeito, perto da estação, o quarto muito confortável, é espaçoso também. A parte de piscina e sauna são ótimas, com certeza me hospedaria novamente!

Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Moderne Einrichtung.Sauber und gemütlich.
Zmorge Tiptop.
Schliessfächer für Skimaterial sehr praktisch und Wellness gemütlich.
Pool bzw. Wellness könnte gern etwas länger offen sein.
Der kurze Austausch mit der Chefin beim gehen war sehr angenehm.

Le côté spa était très agréable.

Cons:

Le personnel n’était pas très proactif. Les employés de la réception restaient cloîtrés derrière leur vitre et ne proposaient rien. On devait toujours tout leur demander. Jamais ils n’auraient proposé leur service de navette, par exemple, nous voyant surchargés de bagages.

Cons:

The hotel and facilities might be slightly on the smaller side for a four star hotel in zermatt (I have stayed in a few).

During my stay there were three receptionists. The lady and one of the male receptionists were great. The other male receptionist however, was rather condescending when speaking to guests and didn’t make me feel welcomed. I think he’s the same receptionist that other guests who didn’t have positive service is talking about. If he’s the business owner (which I am not sure), I think it would be best if he just gets other ppl to be receptionists and stay in the office. He’s clearly not suited for a front office role in hospitality.

Gute Lage, unfreundliches Personal. Preis / Leistung stimmen nicht.
Cons:

Das Personal war allgemein nicht sehr freundlich, man fühlte sich nicht Willkommen.
2 Einzelbetten auf Räder - bei einem Doppelbett als Paar gebucht.
Heisses Wasser nur bis 21h für einen Tee. Schon etwas komisch wenn die Rezeption bis 23h besetzt ist. Laut Rezeption hat das Chef so entschieden. Eine Frechheit für diesen Preis.
