Worst hotel I've ever stayed at

Cons:

Probably the worst managed hotel I've ever been to. The staff works hard but they have no training and the manager (maybe owner, young woman with a bad attitude that stays in the office the whole time) is terrible. The night person doesn't even know where to find additional toilet paper. He pulled a half moldy roll from somewhere...no idea where. The walls are paper thin, rooms are empty and feels like prison cells, no extras at all, beds are so hard you can't sleep and they creek like old metal beds when you turn. Water pressure sucks and it doesn't get warm at all. Breakfast was the same every day, baloney, sliced cheese, pancakes and sometimes scrambled eggs, juice and coffee. Nothing offered for anyone leaving early for tours like all other places do. Totally over priced as well. We booked because of the pool but the whole place was so dirty we never even used the pool.

Pros:

Ended up changing hotels since they didn't have the right beds for us. Hotel was very accomodating and friendly

Había reservado el 17/9 y no nos recibieron. Dijeron q no trabajan más con Hoteles.com. Que es un error frecuente y cuando no, una estafa.

Perfect stop over before and after our 7-day tour.
Pros:

Our room was very basic but was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Complimentary breakfast was also basic but very good. Good value for the price and a fabulous location!

Very basic hotel
Pros:

This hotel is the most basic imaginable. I understand that most hotels are like this in Galapagos, and after all, you are not there to stay in your room, but still; you get clean room, air conditioning (very important in Galapagos), a bed and a shower. This is about it. Its noisy (construction underway and screaming children at all hours). The only good point: excellent location.
