Mayan Princess Hotel

Hotel itself is decent. The sargussum in the area all around is awful. You can smell it even inside the room.

Underrated. The service was top notch. They were more than accommodating, doing things we never even asked, going above and beyond.

Loved the view and balcony for the price. Kitchen came in very handy. Very central location and highly walkable.

Loved my stay. Convenient and close to everything. Balcony with the beach view is always a plus.

Dog there is annoying

Sargasssum buildup on beach in front of the hotel and no one trying to clean it up letting it to rot leaving a pungent order

Excellent staff. Great view from the balcony. Great town location. Room was very clean. Easy walking distance to restaurants. The bed was very comfortable. Easy booking from website. I will definitely return.

We spent 5 days at the Mayan Princess in San Pedro, Belize. If you use the Carribean Sprinter Water taxi it is within walking distance of the hotel. Sea Dog dive center is also right in front of the hotel. The staff was very friendly, the hotel is clean, rooms are a nice size with a balcony facing the ocean. The beds are very comfortable. No breakfast at hotel, but plenty of restaurants around. Will stay there again.

Pretty was a 2 minute walk to the water taxi. It was also within walking distance of downtown and dozens of restaurants and night spots.

The staff were absolutely amazing! The location was excellent and very convenient. But I cannot say enough about the staff! So accommodating and helpful, and very friendly. Everyone was friendly on the island actually.

I loved this hotel. The location is great. It is directly on the beach and in the heart of downtown. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Lots of shops (grocery, corner shops, tourist shops, and local shops) nearby. We did not rent a golf cart and were fine without one, but there are plenty of rentals available. We took taxis to and from the San Pedro Water taxi. The hotel helped us book taxis and gave us great recommendations for dining. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. We had a king suite with a balcony overlooking the sea. The room was very clean and comfortable, with an inside seating area, nicely appointed kitchen area, and a nice table and chairs on the balcony. The view and the breezes on the balcony were lovely. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit San Pedro.

The Staff was simply amazing and made the stay super easy

This was my second visit at Mayan Princess within 3 months. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the small kitchen is definitely a plus. The location is close to lots of restaurants/stores. I would stay here again.

This hotel really works at making you happy. The room was clean and comfortable, they provided ice, made reservations as needed, and in general really went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The beach was nice (bummer about so much seaweed) but you could snorkel around the dock and clear blue sandy area to see all kinds of fish. And, this hotel is so close to all the downtown restaurants. It's basically only a few blocks and streets. Very nice.

Clean, accommodating, staff is very friendly and hotel is well located with a lot of restaurants and shops close by. They organized our diving with one of the local shops and managed all of those logistics for us, I can highly recommend this place for anyone.

This hotel was wonderful. Super clean and the bed and futon were really comfortable. Only thing I missed was a pool and that’s just because you can’t really swim out front. I would totally stay here again depending on what I wanted to do each day.
