Location, room size.
Had to specifically request the voucher we should have received automatically for taking the green option on room cleaning.
Hotel in fantastic location. Staff very friendly. Little treats on arrival very welcome.
Water, fruit and cookies at reception daily a nice touch .
Room had poor view. Towels should be available at the spa.
Room was well laid out, nicely refurbished (although air con a bit weak and slow to cool) and the "city view" was very nice.
Room cleaning was very poor. We stayed 3 nights, so only 2 full days. Each day we came back around 3.30-4pm to find our room had not yet been cleaned. First day we went out again; the 2nd time l just cleaned it a bit as we were leaving the next day. The rooms are not cheap and should be available if we want to return for a cuppa and relax mid afternoon before going out again.

The room was very comfortable, breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the location can’t be beat. A great stay in all respects.

I like that the original structure of the historical building has been kept. Very spacious and quiet room. Very good breakfast, not a huge buffet, which is good, still plenty of choices, good lay out so peole can more around easily, no cues. Very good fast easily connected wifi. I very much appreciated the welcome handwritten note from Filipa with a small bottle of Port and local cakes. Thank you also for the late check out. The location is great, very central, walking distance to the river and all the attractions. I went to a concert at Casa Da Musica, easy to reach with metro from the hotel.
