Overall an enjoyable stay, but not exceptional value for money.......
Pros:

Breakfast was of a good standard both in terms of selection and quality of produce offered, accommodating both traditional and European options.
The location of the hotel is very good, in close proximity to local attractions and amenities.

Cons:

The room and general furnishings were a little tired, showing signs of wear and tear and could have done with a refresh at this price point. The first room we had on arrival had a significant amount of mold in the shower area and after contacting reception, we were promptly & courteously offered an alternate, which was better, but didn't feel very fresh.

La posizione comoda e in una piazza ricca di ristoranti e bar; colazione molto buona e varia; letti molto comodi. Consiglio di prenotare le camere che danno non sulla piazza, sono più silenziose. Ci hanno permesso di consumare la colazione in una saletta vicina alla sala colazione assieme al nostro bassotto (cosa non scontata in Portogallo). Bravi! Abbiamo pranzato al ristorante dell'hotel e siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Personale molto disponibile e gentile (a parte il ragazzo alla reception il giorno dell'arrivo). Parcheggio a pagamento in un loro hotel a circa 200 metri di distanza. Ci tornerei volentieri.

Cons:

Affollamento nella sala colazione (mancavano spesso le tazze per poter fare il cappuccino e bisognava attendere anche 10 minuti per averne una); all'arrivo abbiamo avuto un problema in quanto la camera da letto prenotata di categoria superiore in quanto con vista aveva il condizionatore rotto che faceva un rumore insopportabile. Abbiamo riscontrato il problema non appena entrati in camera ma il ragazzo alla reception si è dimostrato piuttosto ostile e non collaborativo volendo chiamare un tecnico quando era evidente che era impossibile soggiornare in quella camera. L'hotel risultava pieno ma per incanto hanno trovato una camera disponibile (piccolissima, non potevamo aprire la valigia) ma con un terrazzino delizioso con vista sulla piazza.

In the Heart of the City
Pros:

This was a repeat visit and it did not disappoint. Location is close to the city center and no on-site parking making luggage/check in difficult. Car parking is at another hotel. Clean, quiet, but busy due to location (many tours, etc). Breakfast was excellent although could be very busy with all the guests.

Cozy place for those who like to walk around
Pros:

Good location for walks, all important places in Porto reachable easily, good food in the restaurant, cozy atmosphere of the hotel and the square on which it is placed.

Cons:

The rooms need some maintenance - in both our rooms the windows did not work properly (could not be closed or opened fully), the air-condition did not work properly. But it was not a complete disappointment, just small things that could be fixed for next visitors!
