Paditeras Boutique Hotel Seminyak

I rarely have issues with hotels as I’m very much a ‘grin and make-do’ girl, but this hotel was such a disappointment. The bath tap was irreparably snapped off in our first room upon check-in and our air conditioning leaked pools of water in the new room they gave us. The toilet cubicle was covered in grime and water marks, as were the mirrors in the bathroom (same in both rooms!). Our sheets were also marked, not dirty but stained, and were not changed in the whole week we stayed even after specifically requesting it. One morning I woke up with ants crawling on me as we had a mini infestation on our bedside table. The pool was the worst part of the entire hotel; layers of green grime across every side of the pool and chunks of floating algae. We couldn’t smell any chlorine and couldn’t see a filter so I’m not sure how the pool is cleaned. Staff were friendly but quite unhelpful and lacked The usual professionalism of concierge/receptionists. We stayed in much cheaper hotels than this during our time in Bali and all were far superior to this hotel. We were expecting this to be our nicest hotel going by the listings photos but it was a bitter disappointment. Please don’t waste your money, look elsewhere.

Property was in very poor condition. The rooms smelt like mould and the aircon leaked water all over the floor. Staff were incredibly unhelpful

Staff are nice but too much noise at night. People banging and talking loud like hard work kind of work right next to my room. Wasn’t able to sleep.

I enjoy the hustle & bustle of Bali/Seminyak but it was nice being in a quieter space to rest each night. Would recommend hiring a scooter or using taxi/scooter taxi (Gojek) as even though you google to walk places it is a longer jaunt. Got some great local cafes, ‘mini’ Revolver, Coffee Cartel within 5 mins to walk m plus Organic Cafe nearby too. Rooms were very tidy, clean, great value for money, I made sure I utilised the bath for a soak.
I wouldn’t include the breakfast, only 2 options & local cafes are the way to go. The terrace pool is nice, with a good view on rooftop, there is no atmosphere up there at all (although if you really want peace & quiet space but still relatively close by scooter or taxi to Seminyak square then this would suit.
I would recommend to stay here if you don’t want to get caught up in the chaos, it is a good base overall. Staff are friendly but limited in what they can communicate but still, basic comms is ok. Felt safe so for those travelling on your own it’s really good value & the room still felt like you’re treating yourself to some luxury. Bonus was a bath right next to the bed to relax, soak & unwind.

Seminyak location is nice and near good eating places. But the property is way overpriced.

A rip-off capitalising on Boutique Hotel status. Stayed in their honeymoon suite and found a enormous cockroach on the first night. The hot water kettle had not been cleaned and a gooey drudge was at its base. The linen - towels etc was threadbare and long past it’s discard date ... we asked for breakfast and my suggestion is to get it served by the rooftop pool - otherwise it shows up in your room In styrofoam containers... over all a disappointing experience and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone...

The staff is nice and courteous - but that counts for little if the amenities are lacking.
