Beautiful hotel. Very friendly staff. Lovely leisure centre
Pros:

Excellent location

Cons:

Was initially put in a pokey box room - not even a wardrobe for a 7 night stay. However this was quickly rectified by management the following morning and the next 6 nights were more than adequate.

Nettes Hotel mir freundlichem Personal. Die Lage ist ruhig.

Cons:

Generell merkt man, dass das Hotel schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel hat. Warm- und Kaltwasser sind im Waschbecken getrennt und die Dusche im Zimmer ist für sehr schlanke Menschen gedacht.

Pros:

Dinner was not great, explained to server and was not charged. So I would class that as a positive attribute as there was no fuss.
The staff were absolutely brilliant. Many thanks to Mikey on the front desk for letting me borrow his own fan and even gave me extra batteries...what a thoughtful and helpful young man.

Cons:

It's a pity that the leisure complex is not connected to the hotel. As a disabled guest, having to go outside to access the complex is far from ideal,,,,it takes away from the idea of having a relaxing break.

Very nice, family and kids friendly Hotel.
Pros:

This is good for family especially with kids. Everything is here

Cons:

Enjoyable stay
Pros:

It was lovely stay
Leisure centre was fabulous.

Cons:

The food wasn't great.
Breakfast was cold. Frogs restaurant food was horrible for the price. Kids food was so cold my kids didnt eat it. And our food took so long and after waiting the food wasn't what we ordered so disappointed. 😞

Great stay with a fantastic leisure centre and the perfect base for discovering beautiful Mayo!!
Pros:

The hotel location outside the town of Ballina but don’t let this be a discouragement and the facilities of a leisure centre and local country walks given it the bonus. Was taken back by the price and was expecting what you get is what you pay for, but the hotel has a lot to offer. The second floor was unavailable to access and not sure if it was operational which gave a strange vibe but this out ways the positives.

Cons:

The hotel bar could of been open and music session could be provided- though it was a Monday-Wednesday stay and it was late on our return (10.30 - ish) and a lot of the other guess were like ourselves touring the general area.

U could hear everything on next floor. Breakfast was miserable after 9 o clock even though it didn’t end till 10

Beware - Room is not fit for purpose and should not be marketed as a double room.
Pros:

Property was lovely until we entered the room.

Cons:

The room had a small double bed up against the wall on one side and touching the wall at the foot of the bed. There was a very small bedside table and a desk and television squashed into the end of the room. The TV was on the side wall and could not have been used if sitting in bed. The room would realistically have been small for a single. When asked the staff acknowledged it was the smallest room in the hotel and refunded but after driving 3.5 hours we were forced to drive another 1.5 hours to find alternate accomadation. The manager said we should have known from the photos but as with all photos it was strategically photographed to appear larger. Really disappointed that was to be a relaxing break became a stressful trip and ended up costing us a lot more money for a last minute booking in another area.

Exceptional service
Pros:

The staff were amazing. Alexa, Christine and all the other hotel staff were so professional and kind. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and flawlessly clean. We had a small function there. The venue, food and service was second to none. We will definitely be back

Cons:

The hall carpet between the first floor bedrooms was badly stained, as if something had been dragged over it. A pity, because everything else was of high standard
