Great place to stay if you’re in the area
Pros:

Excellent wellness area. Quiet. Large rooms. Friendly staff. Onsite restaurant menu varied and everything we ate (three nights) was great.

Cons:

Having a few simple à la carte breakfast options would be a nice addition (e.g. omelette, egg to order, pancakes).

5 star experience!
Pros:

This amazing 3 star hotel should be 5 star! Family owned for generations, I can’t say enough about the care taken by owners to be sure our stay was pleasant. Beautifully decorated, wonderful food, spa with dry and infared saunas, steam room, cold plunge and warm outdoor pool as well as relax area. Made for an ideal place to base for the Olympics in our case. Trains and buses within walking distances. Would love to come back in summer and hike the National Parc!
I could say so much more but in short I highly recommend!

We Fell In Love With The Alps Here!
Pros:

Hotel Baer and Post is a wonderful place to stay. We highly recommend it. It was our first time staying in the Alps. We came for the Olympics in Livigno just a short bus drive over the border. When we returned in the evening the hotel was everything we could have hoped for. It is family owned, pictures of them and others are posted all around the lobby. A little gathering area of cozy recliners, sofas, and warm candles greeted us every time we entered. The staff is friendly, talkative, and genuinely kind. They were always happy to see everyone and made very nice small talk. If you're thinking about including breakfast I would encourage it. It's a traditional German/Swiss breakfast- croissants, bread, cold cuts, cheese, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, yogurts, cereal and fruits. I wrote out the breakfast for Americans who are coming here for the first time so they wouldn't be surprised when made to order eggs was not available. We loved the breakfast. It kept us full through lunch. The Sauna, Steam Room, and heated pool were clean, beautiful beds to lay outside and watch the sunset over the snow peaked mountains. Cozy robes and slippers to enjoy. Please note the steam room and sauna are full nude. No bathing suits allowed. We had a beautiful room, 124. It has a beautiful rain fall shower with a nozzle attachment. It was so large it felt like a studio. No fridges in the room so we left the white wine on the windowsill to chill until we needed it. Am looking forward to staying here again. Thank you for a remarkable experience.

Charming! Will stay again!
Pros:

Love the location, and I look forward to staying again. Very dreamy, and the room smelled fresh, and everything was so good. I particularly loved that they dropped guests off at the train station and picked us up within the time frame allowed by the hotel. The hotel is also close to the train station, which is great!

Cons:

The fact that they don't drop off at the station before 8 am, stop picking up guests from the station at 10.30 pm, and there's no taxi nearby. It inconvenienced me, and I missed a couple of appointments, but it's not such a bad thing. One has to plan and make the walk, which is also not long.

Perfekte Herbsttage in einem schönen Hotel
Pros:

Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und gepflegt - allerdings eher klein das hat uns aber für nur eine Nacht nicht gestört. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön. Das Nachtessen war hervorragend. Beim Frühstück haben uns die frischen Früchte gefehlt. Der Fruchtsalat wurde während der Zeit als wir beim Frühstück waren leider nicht aufgefüllt.

Cons:

Wie bereits oben beschrieben. Es stand leider auch nirgends, ob man Rührei oder Spiegelei bestellen konnte.
